I need all the good luck I can get lol Yep I knew it was going to happen, thats how it works for me. There are not many good paying jobs around here, and if 1 pops up you either have to know someone or have all kinds of degrees to get it. I keep to myself and family mostly so I dont know many people here and at 52 I am not going back to school for a degree lol

I started a by mail study on Psychology and was scoring 98% ... but not only did I get bored with it, I figured at my age & with my hearing problem there really wasn't much point.

I know what you mean about job hunting...DH and I were both laid off over a year ago because of the drought here in Colorado. Seems if you are 57 and 58 people just don't want to hire you. They prefer younger folks... I guess they figure you will be retirement age in 5 years so why bother. Oh well, you just gotta keep trying.

Oh well, the Lord knows what He is doing...though I must admit some days I wish I did too. I guess if we had had new jobs we wouldn't have been in a position to go when his mom was sick or when she passed. Maybe that is what we were waiting on? Then again maybe we are looking at the wrong thing, time will tell.
