Hey Lori, I'm sorta here :)

We had a lot of fog yesterday and rain allllllll day today too!
So, a customer today said that the Farmer's Almanac was spot on for our weather as per the big snow we just had. I can never figure out how they can predict that stuff. Not entirely sure that they're right very often, maybe they just got lucky this time. This customer also said something about the persimmon nuts, which I'm guessing he meant the seed, or pit, being right as well....never heard anything about persimmon nuts, only the wooly worms and their banding, or lack of banding. Someone else at work also said that all the nut trees were absolutely LOADED this year, and he said that usually means it will be a harsh winter.

Yep. ;)
He said his wife didn't even have to fight the squirrels for the pecans this year. He said she had shelled 13, 5 gal buckets of them. He brought us all a gallon zip lock bag of them already shelled and cleaned!
