Yeah, cartons here are way on up there too. I want to say around $75.00 for name brands.
What's the shelf life on mixed juices though?? I had some that were just about 5 or 6 months old and they were nasty, they weren't super great to begin with, but lets just say they didn't steep well.

I remember those Midwest prices quite well! I used to stuff my suitcase full if cartons before returning to michigan after a visit home.
They say atleast 1 year if stored properly. I've had a couple that I feel the same way about. I just thought it was the juice. Yuck!
It just doesn't last long. The longer one that requires the extender for the mini will last almost all day. If it's fresh in the a.m., it will last all day at work for me.
You east coast gals must be getting tired. It's almost eleven here, and I've been up since 5:15, but I sure am enjoying the convo and the company!

I haven't but I've seen some pics here & there. Looks like a nice deep earthy green & red tones would pair with it nicely.
That's understandable about the battery. I like being able to go a full day without having to worry about it. That's prob why I stuck with the standard size. I've also never seen a mini in real life but I was expecting the standard size to be bigger.

I thought about the full size, but wanted to keep the same pattern....I'm weird.
I think the mini with the extender takes the same battery as the full size, but I could be wrong.
I'm a little beat. Ugggh & I have to work tomorrow. Was supposed to be off Sunday but one of the girls needed off so I switched with them for next Friday. So another 2 days before I'm off again.

I can say I'm done for sure now. I have no need for a 4th. I probably didn't need the red but I'd wanted one before they even made them in red. Plus it didn't hurt that it ended up being a gift. I'm sure I would've went back & forth with myself about the purchase if I'd had to buy it for myself.

I've heard about those prices! It's funny because I smoked Newports & if you look on the side of the box they're made in Greensboro, NC which is about 20 mins away. All of the other big brands are made right here at RJR. This city is big tobacco. It's not as big as it was 13 years ago when I first moved here for college but this city is proud of its big tobacco roots. Plus RJR has paid for so much in this town it's a shame.
