Thank you! We got the DIL one of the walmart cheap ones that does one cup at a time for Christmas, cost about $10 and has a permanent basket/filter and the whole bunch loves it. They all use it for coffee and tea. I need to replace mine, it is shorting us on water too...
Hubby asked if I wanted a kurig (spelling?) I said no. One cup at a time? Um nah. I like a pot in the morning

I could have saved a lot of time if I had just asked you lovely ladies first!
I have tried and trashed a ton of 28 guage ones so I am excited to try again with the 30 and 31. I will let you know how it goes!

Another CuisinArt. I've had a Bunn before but accidentally let it run dry by leaving it plugged in when we went on vacation one time.

I've got a Hamilton Beach coffee pot it does 1cup 2cups or a whole pot.
Does not have a hot plate -which is why I got it. And keeps coffee hot for a really long time.
When we go some where we make 2 cups to go then a whole pot and take that with us too.

We won't get a single cup maker although the kids say this thing is crazy fast and makes a really good cup. We go through a full pot in the morning...like it when you hear the coffee pot kick on at 5 and know by the time you come out you'll have fresh hot coffee! That is the way morning should be!

This one and my last one are thermal pots. I'm keeping the pot since it's the same exact pot. When we have company, I can brew one pot, set it on the counter and brew another one right away.
Love these thermal pots!
I'm no guru but I'd do rebuild my coils rda and protank.
It's the barometric pressure here. DH & DS have head aches too
