As i was leaving work today she texted me to pray that she had a job by the end of the day. I figured she was just being nervous because she has got nothing but promotions working there and even had 2 other teams trying to get her to work for them. (Teams are just different groups of jobs, like lenders, bankers or in Katie's case Leadership development.)

She just called me and said they let all 45 members of her team go. They gave a severance package but she hasn't opened it

No one should be able to fire 45 employees at once and for no reason other than they want to try something different. No one was even offered a job at a different position. God i love my union

Hello Lurkers
I did get my shorty & it's red. The only thing is that this time they restricted my thumb entirely!
I hate it but it makes sense for this type of fracture. There may be a small chance that I'll have to go longer with this cast. He said this bone can be a PITA to heal & apparently it's living up to it so I'll go back in 4 weeks for new X-rays & we'll go from there.

Oh & I didn't throw up on anyone
I did make it to the grocery store...well Reggie drove me both places. So far I've got a banana down. Gonna try some applesauce a little later.

At first it seems odd that they stabalized your thumb now but I guess they figured you were bound up good enough the first time around?
