How's mom? :?:

I'm breaking my FOURTH sweat for the evening!!! :grr:

She's doing well. We were talking about her grand-dog. Now I'm even more concerned than I was this morning. Gonna see if I can get him an appointment in the morning. I've been putting his checkup off because I didn't want to drive with him & this cast but after doing some reading & talking with her & my sis I'm pretty sure this isn't allergies but him needing him .... glands expressed. I just hope he'll be ok until they let me bring him in.

What ya doin to break a sweat?

I've heard that. Luckily I haven't had to deal with it til now. He goes for a checkup every 6 months so I always have then take care of it then but his last checkup was supposed to be right after I broke my wrist so he's overdue. I'm feel so horrible now. Hopefully the roads are ok in the morning. If so I'm going to try to get him in there before work.

Oh ok...I follow ya now:blush:

Groomers can do that, shouldn't be a problem unless they're clogged. That's not the proper terminology for that, but I don't remember the correct term. Or, you can do that yourself. So my vet tells me.
....um...yeah....no. :D THAT is most certainly worth the $5.00 the groomers charge around here.

Hey sweetie:wub:
I think they're full. He's been licking at his tail for the last 2 days & it's all inflamed. I thought it was allergies but after talking to my mom & sis about it I think they're full. I just want to get him in before anything bad can happen. He's so uncomfortable. I feel like such a bad animal mom.

I feed him Eukanuba.
He didn't get to go to his 6 month appt because of all of the hand mess so he 2 months behind in all. I'm just going to have to strap him in & take him. He's not the best traveler at times. Especially in the doggy seat which is why I was trying to wait before I took him. I wanted to have both hands because he tries to get out of that seat. Smh

Has he been scootching his ....???
Do you have a small crate?? Rita travels in the car in a small crate. I think you said you have a truck, it will work on the front seat too.
I used to drive a small truck. I used the seatbelt to strap the crate down. I fed the latch part through the handle on the crate to keep it secure, and put a beach towel under it to level it on the seat. I have an SUV now, and flip one of the seat things forward in the back, and her crate sets there. I secure it with a bungie, and there are even built in hooks in the back cargo area to hook them to. It's pretty slick.

Thanks sweetie. I know. I just feel horrible. Some small dogs don't have issues with it & some do. Groomers sometimes express them without you having to ask & sometimes the dog can do it themselves.

He's not really a scooter in general but he has been today kinda. But i thought it was all related to his itchy tail until now. I talked to the docs about it a while back & she said some dogs don't scoot much or it could be that he does it when I'm not around.

He has a doggy seat. It's shaped a lot like the crates. He just tries so hard to get out of that thing. His leash clips into it & I swear sometimes I think he's going to strangle himself. My biggest concern was him trying to get out & me not being able to get to him. Mom just told me I'm paranoid since having these casts. I guess she's right to an extent.

Thanks sweetie. I just wish there was something I could do to make him feel better in the mean time. For now I'm gonna hope the roads are good in the morning & hope they can squeeze us in.

Aw, I don't think you're paranoid at all! It's understandable that you would be wary
