Do I have to use silica on the eternity or can I use cotton yarn? If I pay attention? If it isn't a good idea, what millimeter silica do I need to order??

I don't know if you all are still here....
been a long day, but it has been a decent night.

I'd use silica as it tends to get dry fast. I use cotton in my Patriot dripper though but the coils and cotton are much lower.

You can try it Chapel, I would think that it would dry out quickly though. If you can catch it before you burn it, but if not, you'll be rebuilding a lot of coils.

I use two strands of 1 mm silica. That's just me, I don't think there is a hard and fast rule for that.
