Sorry to hear about your Pappy, BobC. His journey has taken a brief deviation from yours, but you will meet up again.
Still experimenting with the hydrographics. It's very finicky. Can't just use any paints, timing of the chemicals has to be exact. ....but I almost got it. I will be hopefully offering a new hydrographic Peko and a GDNA for sale soon. I still have a couple others to finish first. Also working on making up a few single wood standard tips and several new multi wood tips for sale too. Getting all i can done before surgery. Anyone wanting something specific, now.is a good time. I only have 4 people on my que right now and I'm hoping to get them knocked out this weekend.

OK peeps, finally got my surgery date. I am going on Nov 30, Monday after Thanksgiving. I will make sure everyone who has me working on something gets completed before then, unless drastic circumstances occur of course. So scared to death after the horror story of last years back surgery, but at the same time will be so happy not to be taking "the really heavy stuff" I do now for pain. So excited and freaked out at the same time. Anyway, fingers crossed.

You can do this. You will come out the better for it. Things have changed drastically in the past few years in regards to back surgery. I am here if you want to chat.
I hope they have changed drastically since last year, since that was my last back surgery in which they screwed up. ARGH!

But you have a better surgeon this time, who takes the time to go over everything with you. You're in better hands.
Yup. I changed everything, kicked the surgeon to the curb and even changed hospitals as they sucked too. Was much more thorough in investigating the surgeons this time, plus have an ortho surgeon working with a neurosurgeon.
Now, if you just add a Psychoanalyst to the mix, you'll be good to go
