Jeez people, leave you alone for a day or so and look what happens! LoL.
Ok, first announcement. Thanks to the wonderful folks at Molehill Mountain hooking me up, I can now offer dual o-ring SS cores, available in small and a large bore cores. And a huge thanks to my Miss Kat Darling for being the conduit to make this happen! And with the good, there is always a bad. Unfortunately these cores are a lot more expensive than my previous cores, but I think it's well worth it, so I am moving solely to these for most of my tips. So that and also due to "other fees and they way you have to do business" I am going to have to start invoicing and make a slight increase in my pricing. So all tips using the new cores are moving to $35, nup nip tips will still be $45 and beer can tips will be $40 (those will remain single o-ring). Because of how I am being paid, can't say much more here, but I am having to add a handling fee onto shipping. When i charge $5.25 for shipping that is what I pay. So when "additional fees" are involved, I get shorted on shipping. So having to institute a $1 handling fee. And it helps to cover the incidentals associated with shipping too. So sorry, but I feel it's still a great value for all the hand done work involved and the quality of what you are getting. Almost forgot to mention the way I am doing the top opening on Bob's tips below will be my new standard. I will make them however you want, but if you don't specify, it will be like the pics below. It hides the core more, yet is still the same diameter opening as the bore all the way through.
Second announcement. Been thinking about this for a long while and finally decided to add it to what I offer. So anyway, going to start offering hydrographics. My main focus is probably going to be the Peko and the GDNA. I have 5 GDNA mods on hand and plan to finish those with either the hydrographic prints or real carbon fiber tube. Anyway, thought it would be something interesting to do and people would like it.
Opps, had to add in here. I plan on using a CA finish on my hydrographic prints. So while others use a urethane finish,
ejuice will wear it down. Even faster if you let ejuice sit on the surface, heat and pressure (like were a finger rubs) makes this action happen faster. But CA is impervious to ejuice and will not suffer the same effects. So the finish will be far superior and will last a really long time. Trust me, I drop the hell out of my mods and having sleep apnea didn't help that fact. My CA mod still looks perfect. If you do manage to chip, simple, place a drop of glue on the chip, sand and polish right up. With other finishes you have to redo the entire mod.
OK Bob, here are your two new tips! LoL These are the small bore at 3.9mm ID. Large bore will be 4.7mm ID.
Lastly, here are the last of the single o-ring tips that are all pre-made. These are still $30 ($35 for this last beer can), but the $1 handling and me invoicing everyone has to start now with all orders. If anyone wants a more detailed pic of a tip, just PM.
Left three are curly maple burl. The beer can is amboyna burl. Next is a padock cut across the grain (looks awesome that way). Then a brown mallee, cocobolo and ending with an African blackwood.
