i dont know if im still a E smoking newb or im doing something horribly wrong.

i get my gear from heaven gifts because its cheap and i bulk buy so the shipping doesnt kill.

i havent been on the forums for a long time so idk if this has been discussed.

ive killed 1 pass through, 3 m401 manual batts, 4 m401 autos, 2 atomizer and 2 i swear are messed up out of the box (one doesnt fit right, i think the threads might be messed up, another one idk if it doesnt seal right when its screwed on all the way because it pulls with no resistance and it seems like it doesnt pull juice onto the coil in the atomizer. the coils get hot but it doesnt seem to vap unless i drip it.)

all my m403 auto batts work great there the only ones that survive and use.... and charge and use and charge....

i also noticed on my second buy of buying atomizers that the black atomizers paint peals easily and they chip into the chrome atomizers and the chrome atomizers are tarnishing to gold....

this has all happened in the last 3-4 months after i bought them.

i have done some blue filter wick mods and have had them leak into my battery.... but nothing i dont catch quickly and clean out quickly. like dissembling it and flicking the battery like a can of dip and flinging out any juice.

any advice or should i buy from a different vendor?

sweet website im going to buy from this site.

i was just reading about the smoore atty and how its supposed to be better so im deff going to give those a try.

but wait a second.... i thought the M series was just 401 (long batt) 402 (medium size batt) 403 (makes the ecig same size as a regular analog cig)

but whats this m602 m702 and m201!?!?! are all the parts for these M interchangble with the like the 401 402 403?!?!

also does your m402 Pcc work for the 401 and 403 batts? i bought the M401 pcc and actually cut a section of the PCC and foam off around where you screw down the batts so i can get my figures around the m403 batts to screw it in.... (my ghetto mod lol)

ok i think i answered my own questions lurking your threads FEDOR...

so the m601 a bigger m401 (ipad vs ipod touch) and has the option of a cartomizer idk if thats the what there called but cart + atomizer = cart-o-mizer lol :)

the m702 is like the m40x series but shorter bat life..... from what i understand

m201 shares nothing with the m40x series part wise

so the M40x series is still "king" or what i should stick with since i have alot of parts and accessories for it?

*** only question is the m402 PCC. does it work for both the M401 and M403 batts?

Boy have u been missing out. Get the M601/2 with regular atties or cartos. This model rocks. I did a review once but you're gonna have to do a little search.

The M201 is the best penstyle hands down. M702...?Meh..but still good if u want super minis.

As for the PCC, the M401 is only for the M401 but the M402 first both M402/3 batteries.

LOL fedor ... man i just read your m201 m402 review and your m601 every single page

just figured out the m201 is a pen style....

ok after reading some things can you give me a better idea of the the M601/2 vs M40x

i read your "M401/2 Manual Switch Batteries and M602 Manual Kit"

but the only difference you mention is

"This model produces a bigger throat hit compared to the M401. The vapor production is also slightly higher but not significantly so. I will not discount the possibility that the seemingly higher vapor production is just my imagination because of the better throat hit. I'll let you guys decide for yourselves. Either way, the M401 vapor production is very much satisfactory for me so it does not really matter if the M602 is much more superior or not." -fedor

so since you made the thread back in 11-07-2009 what makes the m601/2 now out shine the m40x? they both have PCC, manual/auto batts and passthroughs what makes one better than the other? is it just that the m601/2 has a bigger cart since its bigger than the m40x? or is there some cool mods or combination of other model ecigs with the m601/2?

also i glanced over a thread and now i cant find it about a m40x XL cart?

The main difference to me is that:

1)M60x has bigger carts but is of course larger by diameter but still kick 510 a** anyday.

2) The M60x is cartomiser compatible and this is the biggest draw for me. You can choose to use the M60x with regular atty/carts and also cartomisers. Both works great. Plus you can fully customise both the M40x and M60x kits according to you needs.

Basically, the M40x wins in battery compatibility while the M60x wins in cart/cartos department.

what's the point of cartimisers again? I only smoke menthol juice so do I need it? cartamizers are good for like people who use a ton of flavors right?or is there somthing I'm missing?

Cartomisers comes in menthol as well. Its not just for people who uses a ton of flavors. In fact, cartomisers can be refilled a couple of times. I can refill my cartomisers up to 7 times.

Cartomisers theoretically means that you get a fresh atomiser each time. Its ideal for those who hates to maintain an atomiser or see it diminish in power over time.

I like cartos for hassle free vaping but they cost a little more. Anyway, opinions on this differ and there is only one way to find out if it suits you.

That's disappointing to hear HG's quality on M401s may be suffering. I buy almost all of my stuff there and the batteries I got a year ago are still functioning. I have not bought 410 gear for quite some time, though.

I started using cartomizers with the KR808 and then the 510. I see the biggest advantage in the fact that they last a long time. They hold 20-30 drops, so you don't have to worry about refilling, changing cartridges or in my case dripping.

ya see and thats the thing a year ago like the remaining 401 batt i have and all the 403 batts i ordered when i first started are still working and great. it was just the last time i ordered which was like 3-4 months at most ago those are all the parts that have failed.

idk it might have just been a bad batch im not going to put HG down i was just wondering if anyone else had a similar issues.

ya when i get more money to have a new start up model i was defiantly get the m601/2

ya maintaining the atty is no problem and i use my own juice i dont like pre-filled stuff im picky....

but amazing thank you so much everyone that responded and a special shout to FEDOR

thanks

I, and others around here have had probs w/ what we are told are Smoore batts and attys. I also have older stuff that is still working. It is just the newer stuff w/ probs. There is a 401 batt thread w/ more detail and even a disection. It's in the model specific section. We about decided it is a Smoore problem but we are not positive. *&^$#@

I am real interested in the 601/2s w/ matching cartos. Are they being sold in the U.S. yet?

I use 808 cartos w/ a 3.7v mod but still like the 40xs flavor better.

My latest batch of M401 batts were at least ordered 3-4 months back. No issues thus far except for battery life not being as good as they were when new.

If you are interested in the M60x, i recommend getting the Manual batts aka M602. I find them to be much better. But thats my own opinion. There are others who likes the auto ones better.

Is anyone in the U.S. selling the 601/2 catromizers yet.
Joe

No idea. Been out of touch for a while. Am in a rural area for the past 2 weeks with bad internet connection.

I get mine from AEC. Seems to be the cheapest ones around with reasonable fixed shipping from China. I'm waiting for them to come out with blank cartos.

So, any hope that this QC issue w/ 40xs will get fixed? I sure hope so? But, we do not know for sure that these are genuine Smoore products. Or, do we? A black batt I got from one source had a diff finish... not quite as shiny. That could just be a batch issue though.

I think all suppliers should state the manufacturer on their sales page for that product. Some do but not many. Does HG say who makes their 40x stuff???

Fedor, welcome to my world. I live in a rural area w/ bad internet so it's like that for me all of the time. And a BIG hill and trees prevent me from getting satellite high speed. It's just the videos I have probs with.

No 601/2 blanks yet, maybe soon. I guess you just use up the juice they come w/ and add your own after that. I have heard though that same blank cartos come /w more filler.
