I got excited about the teabag method a few days before I got my first m401, but all I did when I got it was make a mess when I tried it. I might try it again sometime as it was preferable to the filler in the carts.. I just seem to do better with dipping full time. I do have an order of 20 blank carts on the way (mostly for the backup mouthpieces).. but I can play around with them and try the teabag thing again. I admit I gave up pretty fast as I am stingy about losing any juice!

I just read all of the tea bag threads last nite prr2freya and since i usually have a big box of lipton tea bags, thought i would give it a shot. It seemed to get alot of praise once the right way of doing it is found. Ive got a 10pk of blank carts coming so ill use a couple to experiment with. Im gettin really excited about this. Everyone in this thread and forum are awesome with their info.

I've read of people having success and not having success with teabags in 401 carts. I'm the latter. I tried it and couldn't get it to work. Never could get the wicking right. There was always a lot of juice left in the cart when vapor production started to fall off.

I might try it again at some point, but I did just get the fluval water polishing pads for fish tanks and I must say that they work excellent. One box for around 3.50 will last me a very long time. I could easily see it lasting at least 6 months or more (I vape about 3 carts a day). I may try the teabags again, but at this time I really don't see a need to.

Purr: what you might want to try is to just use VG,PG, and flavoring to make a 0 nic juice. That way if you end up making a mess of things you're only out a couple of cents, rather than wasting precious juice. Besides, i found out i don't mind mindlessly vaping 0 nic, when spacing out in front of the computer. I also wanted to try using teabags/coffee filters, but have been too busy concocting juice to try.

I just got some 36mg unflavored, and surprisingly i found out vaping this either straight, or cut with vg is a nice change.

Thanx for that 0 Nic info ruuku. I might even be able to get some vg from work. (food production plant) but im definitely gonna try that so i dont waste the expensive stuff.

Np silver (sorry to lazy to type in the numerics ATM). I would also like to mention that you might want to use 50% VG at max. The stuff is pretty thick, and there are concerns of VG degrading to acrolein. If you are going to make 0 nic be sure to cut it with PG, at least until we know for sure that VG will not degrade. There are also concerns with allergies to VG, so do a small test batch just to be safe. That being said, I've been using VG to cut my liquids, and so far its worked fantastically. It does cut into the flavor, but not so much that i would stop. Besides, VG makes CLOUDS (i kid you not) of vapor.

i'm still waiting for the vapor on my 402 to kick in...it's been about 4 days. i'm hoping to get liquid soon, and from what i understand that helps a lot.

Effy, after reading this entire thread and a bunch more on here, i went ahead and got the 5x20ml sample pack from AEC when i ordered everything else with some extra carts and atomizers too. Ive been looking at the pineapple rum at twisted earth too, sounds tasty. Might order a bottle of that to try out.

I even cut up and practiced rolling a tea bag or 2, lol. But without a cart to test it with, im kinda spitting in the wind, lol.

Hopefully ive got everything i need to successfully kick off my vaping experience the right way. Kudos again to everyone's wealth of info around here.

Just waiting for the shipment now...the hardest part.:pop:

I concur... waiting is the hardest part. I have not had a real ciggie (not even one puff) since yesterday once i got the higher nic juice. I would like to put one of those "tobacco free since ___" thingies in my sig... Not sure where to get them though. I think seeing it and the days accumulate will help a lot!

True prr. Ive got a question from those that have ordered from absolutelyecig.

Does the tracking info get updated on the view order page or do they email ya when a status changes.

Just curious where to look while im waiting.:pop:

This is something i can definitely answer. I was one of the first to ask them this when they moved to the new website.

As far as their website is concerned, they are only 3 status available. PROCESSED, PENDING and CANCELLED. Processed means everything went smoothly and your order has been processed. Pending means an incomplete order (mostly when someone orders but do not complete the payment process). Cancelled are those orders that have been incomplete for too long and has therefore been cancelled.

Out of the three statuses, only "Processed" really matters. The other two shouldn't really bother anyone as no money has changed hands.

They ONLY send tracking info via Paypal emails. This has been the case since the old website. So just use the tracking number you receive to check it at:

www.ems.com.cn/qcgzOutQueryAction.do?reqCode=gotoSearchE

For US orders, you should get better info when checking at:

USPS - Track & Confirm - Put our delivery information to work for you

I don't believe this. Did anyone else see the ECA Message by the president posted on the homepage of absolutelyecigs.com?

This could be a first for a Chinese supplier!

Very interesting video. Watching now. I'm planning on writing a letter to Sen. Lautenberg, who wrote a letter to the FDA proposing e-cigs be banned. Perhaps I'll post the text somewhere on this site when I get it written. I had inspiration the other day, today not so much, heh. I think a lot of the focus on e-cigs is using them as a quitting tool, whereas there is another possibility: using them as one would use methadone for ...... addicts. Some of them quit methadone, some are on maintenance doses of methadone for the rest of their lives...but it's better than being on .......
