M3TS atomizer coil rebuilds

Hello ECF! I just tried my hand at rebuilding M3TS/kanger atomizers which I've been paying $4 for every 4 or 5 days. Success on a couple of them but a couple that didn't work. There 1.6 to 1.8 ohms using 30awg kanthal and organic cotton.

Is the 510 eGoT battery not accepting lower ohms or do you think craftsmanship is the issue? I'm guessing craftsmanship on my part.

I bought the 1.8 ohms heads for my M3TS along with the 2.4 ohm and I prefer the 2.4 using my eGo batteries. Im really new so this is simply an opinion.

What sort of battery is a 510 eGo-T? Size and mAh.

I personally only put under 2.0ohms on a full-sized eGo battery.

Are you using an ohm meter to test continuity after assembly? This is a must as a short can damage
the battery. And if those tiny wires are not contacting the side and the center post it will not work and only an ohm meter can tell you if the circuit is open or has the proper ohms.

It's a 1000 mah battery. I'm using my fluke 115 meter and continuity is good. Just tested one at 1.5 ohms. I'm almost sure that's too low a rating for the eGo battery.
