Hello again! Time for more questions ^.^

I just recently started vaping and my first kit is the M601/M602 Ultra that I got from electronic-cigz.com. Here are a few questions I'd like to ask, any answers will indeed be appreciated. I'm sorry if any of these have been asked before, I tried finding information before posting.

1. Is the M601/M602 known by a different name?

2. My batteries seem to only last an hour or so, apparently I'm chain vaping like most n00bs. I've seen the USB passthroughs for some models, I was wondering if there was one for the M601/2? I know that there is one for the M401/2.. but the Diameter is 9.2mm on my M601/2. Edit, USB passthrough is 401 atomizer size. Doesn't use battery so disregard this question.

3. The charger that came with my e-cigs is a USB charger. To wall charge you'd plug the USB into the USB slot on the wall charger, and then plug that in. The USB section lights up blue. In the manual that came with my kit, it said the inital charge would be 8 hours, and then after that it'd take about 5 hours to fully charge. I plug it in, and it does charge ( I can tell by the quality increase in hits) but I don't know if it fully charges. I'll take the battery out, puff on it for an hour or two and then the green LED light will blink 11 times or so and won't let me smoke any more. When I try to charge it, 1-3 hours after I plug it in, the blue light on the charger will blink. There were no instructions regarding this charger, only the M401 charger. If this one went from red to green, it'd be way easier to tell...

4.My automatic battery cuts off after only 3-4 seconds, and having it turn on is more difficult (I think) than when I first got it. I've tried alternating atomizers and cartridges to see if that was the case, and even used a polyfill instead of the PTB mod to see if I was just packing it too tight. Manual works like a champ, just runs out of power too fast.

5. Lastly, I'm looking for atomizers that I can use that won't take 9 days to get in the mail. If there are any other distributors for the M601/2 atomizers please give me a link to their site so I can check them out.

:confused:I'm sorry for such a long post, just having some newbie difficulties.:confused:

Sean contacted me almost immediately regarding this issue. Seems I had unfortunately received a faulty charger/automatic battery.

The manual battery works fantastic, no complaints there other than the lack of longevity (due to not receiving a full charge). Warranty covers this so I'll be getting a replacement soon.

There will be a USB passthrough soon for the m601/2 so I'm looking forward to that.

His quick response and understanding of my predicament has made a loyal customer out of me.

The M601/2 should be the same name straight from the manufacturer. I have the M602 which is all manual batts. I, too think that the manual batts works like a champ. I don't have the auto ones but the thought of 3-4 second cut off turns me off big time. Even in the old days, cut offs were at least 5 seconds.

Great to know that the supplier has good CS. I don't know where you can get faster supplies but check out www.absolutelyecigs.com for cheaper supplies. Bulk attys are only $6 a piece for packs of 10s. Other parts and kits are also cheaper. Shipping time should be around the same or faster from China. I get them around a week but there seems to be delays for china shipping these days but should not take longer than 9 days.

Hi Woruta! I have similar problems with my new 601/2 kit. I just got my mine yesterday and I had the same reaction to the charger. Wasn't sure when I plugged in the new batts if they were already charged or what? User manual is useless re: the charger. My auto batt is a bit wonky too, sometimes it blinks off after using it for only 1-2 seconds. I have taken longer drags than that with it so I don't think it is the cut-off. Not too impressed with the cartridges so far but maybe I'm doing something wrong. My battery life is shorter than expected too so I'm hoping that we have the same charger issue and that Sean will take care of it.
Despite all that, and it may sound contradictory, I do like the 601/2. It performs pretty well for such a small PV while dipping. If I can iron out the bugs I'll be really happy.
Agree about Sean, I've been impressed with his service so far and I've emailed him about the problems. Hopefully he'll get back to me soon.
Happy Vaping!

The carts don't bother me. Took 3 with me today (what the case holds) and that was fine. I'm just using the PTB mod. So glad I found it.. now I just have to find out what to stuff with this humongous bag of polyfill.

I've narrowed down the charging problem for both batteries (auto isn't functioning correctly, separate issue) to the wall charger and 1 of the 2 USB chargers. The manual was completely drained when I plugged it into the other (was testing every combination) USB charger. It had about 3 hours to charge while I slept (didn't get much) and when I took it to work, it ran with me basically puffing nonstop for 4 hours. Then I switched to the auto.. feels like I'm trying to suck a watermelon through a garden hose. Even then, when I get it running it hits its cutoff after like 3 seconds. So I was barely managing to get what I needed, barely... hardly. The light on the charger wasn't blinking when I took the manual with me, btw.

Now, once I get the replacement automatic in I'll see. If it's still not satisfactory, I'll just order strictly manuals. Less problem, better control, longer life etc.

Mooby's review is what got me to order mine. I won't call him a liar, he seems genuine and I'll trust what he says, he's been vaping a lot longer than me (and I think he could probably take me in a fight).

The charger says 1.5H, the distributor says about 5 hours.. and right now I'm seeing what a full charge takes. Gonna look around for some more reviews on this model to see what the general consensus is. Will post when it's done.

Worutta, so you charged a battery until the light started and then stopped blinking? And then it lasted four hours? I'll give that a try then. Thats way better performance than mine. I've had it last 2-3 hours max puffing every 25-30 minutes. Glad to hear the cartridges work for ya, that means I'm doing something wrong and can fix it. I hope! :)
Bazooka, my auto batt doesn't cut off after 3-4 seconds. I think it is more like 7-8 seconds. As far as the charging issue, thats what we're trying to work out. I don't remember watching Moobys review but he might be spot on for all I know.

Ok, took a while to get back here. I'm not certain on this, just a speculation under the assumption that this charger is working properly. Here goes:

When you first plug in the battery/charger to the USB, there's a bright blue light that will light up. The LED on the battery lights (@10) times. Showing there is a charge going through it.

Near the end of the charging session, the bright blue light will dim. Now, there's a certain point that the charging isn't done, but near done... should blink occasionally then increase in speed, then decrease speed again but this time the blue light is mostly dim.

After the battery is charged, the light will remain dim for the remainder of of time it is plugged in with a battery connected.

Right, just a follow up on all the 601/2 issues. Battery life for me is 3 hours max, moderate vaping, which when you think about it is not bad. They are pretty small, after all. Recharge time is just about an hour, give or take.
For Worutaa, I left a batt on an overnight charge and it was still blinking in the morning. Not sure about the dimming and stuff but both batts last about the same and it seems that the charger is working properly.
After some trial and error with the wee carts, I've got them to last quite a bit longer. The trick is to almost fill them up with juice, then insert the filler, top off if needs be, then let the atty push back the cartridge. Thanks to the helpful people in the electronic-cigz forum.
The problem with my auto batt is not the cutoff but something else. Sean is sending me a replacement and I will ship the wonky batt back to him. He is one of the good guys and I would recommend him to anybody out there but especially folks in Canada. Fast shipping and he takes care of you.
