MaddCatt Vapors (So good, they get their own thread!)

Ya, so I kinda mentioned MadCatt Vapors in my previous post. Well, I just got an actual phone call from these guys. Never in all my days of buying stuff online have I had a vendor call me to help walk me through a purchase (in fact, it seems difficult to even get a response from some vendors!) William, is who called me, I guess he is their "hardware guy." He called and walked me through my options. I have decided to go with the Bolt Deluxe kit, I work 12-14 hour days and have been a 2 pack a day BIG DRAG smoker for several years now and this sounds like it would be good, he also said it's really durable which is also good cuz I am very hard on carry around items, like cell phones and such. Does anyone here have a Bolt and some experience with its durability and... vape...aility? I am also looking to best fulfill the physical sensation of a big drag from an analog (as far as a little rough on the throat...ish, though I am glad to be rid of the burning from hot ashes and smoke)

I've not owned or used one, but I have read of issues with the button switch failing on this mod. My AltSmoke BB has a similar horn button as the Bolt has. Being so prominent, it's entirely possible it can be pressed while in a pocket (although it'd have to be a big pocket) and stay turn on without your knowledge, leading to a battery catastrophe. Just a safety warning.

I'd recommend you do a review search here for the Bolt.

If anything, it will be tons better than starting out with any of the mini look-a-likes. Good luck.

Awesome, thanks for the advice! I ordered earlier, so I guess I'll hafta see for myself about this button/battery issue (and be careful, cuz I always stuff my pockets full of everything.) I suppose I'll leave a few reviews over time about my own experience.

my bf had the idea to get a magazine lite type holster for his belt for his vape.

its not a bolt but the idea might work for you too. and.it might help protect that button.

jwsimiskey William and the MaddCatt Crew are awesome people to deal with. I just left their shop I stopped in and bought my wife an ego twist for her birthday. I have not used a bolt before but I know a few who have and they have been pleased with theirs so far. The 18650 batteries will last you quite awhile as mentioned above it is better than the little cig look-a-likes out there. I was talking to William and he told me he was texting you and spoke to you over the phone, that is why I choose them over others their customer service is the best. If you encounter problems their staff is always very helpful. Then again you are here on ECF the folks are more than willing to offer their opinions on devices most have been there or done that, if I can ever help an any way just ask my wife and I have only been vaping since Feb but we have learned a lot. I hope you enjoy your Bolt my hardest part was finding the juice I liked for an all day vape.
