Hi all
I'm definitely bitten by this vaping business! Loving the flavour I'm getting from my first PV.
One problem though: how do I carry all those little tanks around with me? I'm still at the stage of trying out various flavours in 10ml sizes, and haven't settled on a favourite juice yet. Maybe I never will. Sometimes I'm in the mood for something hard-hitting and sweet (e.g. Alba Mist Red Apple from Alba Vapours); sometimes I feel like a tobacco flavour (I'm trying Alba Mist Camtel Ultimate, as well as Dekang Tobacco); or the really mellow feeling of Dekang Grape 100% VG. I haven't even tried the Coffee, Vanilla, Banana or Mint yet...
For a few days I carried the tanks in a baggy in my back pocket. This doesn't work too well. I don't think the Lea 800 tanks are particularly leaky, but a back pocket, with pressure sometimes applied, and body heat, makes a bit of a mess inside the bag (and mixes up the flavours).
So I found an 18mm pine plank lying around, and some 7mm dowel. Bit of drilling, sawing, and a lot of filing, and the result is:

Take off the lid, and there are 5 of the 6 tanks that came with the Lea starter kit:

(the 6th one, of course, is stuck between my mouth and the atomizer/battery
)
As you can see I'm no expert cabinetmaker/joiner... First mistake was imagining that the tanks themselves should provide grip to keep the lid on. That's what the bits of dowel at each end are for. So I started by drilling holes in the lid to take the tank ends - and of course they didn't quite match up with where the tank-ends ended up. (No-one can drill completely straight...). I'd have been better off just digging a square slot in the lid in the first place; not that I have the tool to do this.
Next steps:
- File down the edges and corners
- Maybe stain the wood
- For the moment I can scrawl the 6 flavours onto the box in pencil (my sense of smell is still recovering from 22 years of analogs...). Might add a metal/plastic nameplate holder so I can slot in a piece of paper showing which lovely e-juices I'm carrying on this particular day.
Not many people here seem to use the Innokin Lea 800, so the following info might not be that useful, but here goes anyway. The tanks are 32mm long. Each end is rectangular, but the rectangles at either end are at 90degrees to each other. Mouth end is 8mm wide, atomizer end is 8.5mm wide. A 9mm drill bit was a good fit; the holes still needed a lot of widening with a fine file to let the tanks slide in easily.
And finally, a pic with my PV. Complete with gooseneck just for a laugh and for the insane look

Happy vaping!
