Look, no individual orders have been stopped and most of us have made many orders from China suppliers. They will sometimes go through customs but you will always get what you order. Here are some good US and China suppliers:

Rocky Mountain Vapor you have reached the mountain top of electronic cigarettes! : Home
Heaven-gifts.com Ruyandirect.com Best E-smoking Shop
www.eastmall.net - Eastmall International Co.,Ltd
e-Smokey Treats - Electronic Cigarette's, The healthy alternative to traditional tobacco cigarette's

I'm brand new to e-cigarettes as well. I've been talking to Luciano Smokes, INC, and the guys that work there claim they make their ecigs here in the US. I'm not sure if this accurate, but they told me none of their ecigs come from China.

I've been at this a while and have talked to many suppliers. NO compelete PV's are made in the US. The closes you can get is the Prodigy, the LV and the new Super T. The Screwdriver is made in the UK. Even with these, all the atomizers, carts and liquid comes from China.

These are the best PV's made anywhere, however:

Screwdriver: ecigscrewdriver.com
The Black Screwdriver Kit / Totally Wicked eLiquid / Electronic Cigarette e-liquid shop
Prodigy: PureSmoker.com - Home of the USA Built PV !!!
LV/ZiMoshi:Personal Vaporizers : Hardass Vapor Shop
Super T: Super T, Innovative manufacturer of Personal Vaporizer products.

There's no end-to-end manufacturing solution for e-cigs in the US. That's not surprising, because there's no end-to-end manufacturing solution for ANY electronic device in the US that I know of. Every mildly complex electronic device you purchase is going to have chinese parts in it. We are close, in that you can purchase everything US made but atomizers. However....

It's not like they are that hard to make. Take one apart. We aren't talking high sophistication here. In the very least, repair of broken ones shouldn't be too hard. If there's demand, the market will provide unless the obvious communists at the FDA subvert the market with their freedom hating fascism by making it illegal for US manufacturers to do so.

If you buy from a US supplier then its their headache about customs and not yours - it will cost a little more than buying it direct from China (although shipping CAN be higher, and the wait longer) but the option is there. I always buy from a US supplier cos I'm happy to support them and don't mind paying abit extra :) There is nothing wrong about buying from one of the reputable China-based companies listed on the site here though, many members do it.
All attys are made in China afaik, but battery mods and juice are available all over.
