One week down! Feeling great and loving my PV! I really love the PT too!

Have explored many flavors and really like pineapple, classic caramel mocha frap, mango, blueberry cobbler, peach cobbler and Kamel...I could go on and on!

However, I am wondering about refilling the cartos. I have seen Leaford's video on how to do the Taryn spin and was surprised at how much juice he was putting in a carto...I was under the impression that 15-20 drops would completely fill a carto and last as long as a prefilled one (which for me is a whole day or more). I vape about 20 times a day and take about 10 puffs each time. How long can I expect 15-20 drops to last me?

One problem to note is one of my manual batteries is already shot, the button appears to be broken. I put in a support ticket this morning, but I am still really disappointed that it crapped out so quick :(. Plus I stocked up on juice and cartos and that entire order was covered in juice as one of the bottles lid was not secure and spilled in transit!

BTW update from my last post regarding my father-in-law's order from 2/19, IT NEVER SHOWED UP! Which is unfortunate, he has a bad first impression and is thinking of cancelling his orders and going with someone else. I suggested he email customer service, he did and got the reply that he should submit a ticket instead...this didn't help (he was grumpy to start with). I sent a ticket on his behalf hoping to resolve the issue.

My Dad placed his first order yesterday and I sure hope he doesn't regret it or have the problems that my FIL and I have had so far.

Congrats on your first week !! YAY !! I buy the blank carts and fill juice with a syringe. Tastes and lasts just like the prefilled ones. I use the colors for certain flavors. Found it easy for me to get mixed up..lol..so pink ones for my Cherry, blue ones for my Blueberry etc. I hope everything turns out okay for Dad & Father-in-law ♥ One thing you can always count on is V4L to take care of you. They are the best when it comes to that... Happy Vaping ♥

Congrats on your first week Katalyst! There are so many yummy flavors you should be busy for a while. The owner and the staff work hard to bring us the best this new technology can offer, but sometimes it can be less than perfect. That's a reason V4L is the best - CS will respond and replace the problems quickly. Yet another reason why I always suggest at least 3 batteries and a pass thru to begin with.

Refilling a prefilled with 15-20 drops lasts me a few hours. A blank carto will hold 25-35 drops and last me all day. The carto lasts about a week of refilling before it stops producing vapor and the flavor degrades (tastes funky).

With your help your Dad should be alright now. Hate to hear that with someone's first order, but things do happen.

Congrats on your first week Ms. Kat. You're father in law just needs to relax and contact cs... Sounds like even if his order was correct he'd be mad...

No, I think he was just really looking forward to getting his new toy, especially after seeing mine.

Thanks for all the encouragement, and please know that I started this thread merely to vent.

The customer service really is excellent, and will take care of all your issues. I had multiple battery issues, and they resolved them quickly and without question. The final issue is still being resolved, but I have full confidence that everything will turn out fine.

On my recent order I had a leakage issue as well. I ordered 4 bottles of juice and 3 packs of cartos, and one of the bottles (the sweet, delicious VG cafe mocha!) had leaked out all over everything. It was a sticky mess! Luckily, not a lot was lost, maybe a few ml. This is the main complaint that I have read on this forum about V4L, the shipping. I've read that people's bags were ripped open, or items were leaking. Luckily, they value their customers and take care of issues as they come up.

I hope your FIL and dad keep their patience, because I KNOW they will enjoy vaping! :)

Seems like V4L is making their best effort to take care of me and FIL. We are happy and hope that all the replacements turn out great. I know they make flat rate priority mail boxes, why can't they use those instead of those terrible bubble mailers? Oh well, must be a good reason for it. Moving forward and staying positive!

Yeah, the bubble padded envelope is fine for cartos and batteries. But for a bottle of juice, it needs more... like put the bottle into a leak-proof baggie first, then put that into the envelope or a box.
