Not to invalidate anyone's experience, but ADD isn't even a legitimate diagnosis, as far as I can tell. ( i've spent some time trying to tell.)
jassy, I don't mean you - adult add is a different topic IMO and if you use stimulants to treat it successfully, more power to you. I suspect a lot of people with concentration issues smoke or vape because of the wondrous powers of nicotine to focus the senses. I remember a time when I couldn't imagine being able to do my homework or write anything without a cigarette. sorry to seem judgmental if I do. I am...i do have judgments. but not of you!

I know you don't lirruping. I know I would not have made it through undergrad without smoking and then getting diagnosed and getting the meds to help. Yes I started smoking before I was diagnosed, but I knew it helped me focus just wasn't sure why that was. Got meds and it was like oh this is like smoking x2. Adult ADD is kind of perplexing to me, but it made me a believer when before I was skeptical at best. ADD has become a catch all diagnosis when it shouldn't be.

Attention issues are a problem, but more so for adults. Kids are little cavemen with short attention spans anyway. Add stress in the home and attachment issues and that accounts for all of it. I'm really more interested in late onset "add/adhd" e.g. adults, and the etiology of that. Again, I have yet to find an adult that didn't have some very sad stories somewhere in their past with that dx (shorthand for diagnosis FYI). My goal as a therapist is to say f@ck dx with exception to insurance billing and work with the symptoms themselves if they cause distress. Labeling people is stigmatizing, useless and provides an "excuse" that some people use to forgo ownership of their behavior rather than really engage in self-exploration and healing when they simply don't want to. Everyone plant your feet firmly on the ground, get grounded and do some breath work with me...1....2....3......go!

I think everyone has stories that is just life in general without a dx. Only speaking of self here, but life is a witch then you move on but in those experiences still had and have a dx. I know myself and I use meds as the aid it is suppose to be at appropriate times of need. Labels are only stigmatizing if you let them be. You still have to be responsible for yourself and be accountable. Parents I think make excuses for kids with the dx and the kids become adults still making excuses for the dx. No one wants to be responsible for that.

I had someone send me some rayon to try and I just built my first coil using rayon
So far I am really liking it! I found it easy to work with, and I am getting great taste!
A1 kanthal wire 30 g

1/16 drill bit 10 wraps

I was getting some slight gurgling, but I trimmed the rayon and it stopped. I am amazed by the crackle it makes! Lol so far I think it is great! What all can cause gurgling with coils?

I'm torn between the plume veil, the vulcan and the magma. Any thoughts? I read some really good things on the magma and vulcan. mixed reviews on the plume veil.

I have the Magma and the Plume Veil. I like them both very much, but I think I like the Magma a tiny bit better. They are my two favorite RDAs.

The Magma and the plume have a lot of "rumbling" and crackling going on when you vape, even not sub ohm. I like it!

It started gurgling again, so I stuffed more rayon on top of the coil (my smoktech ARO tank) and it stopped gurgling! Yay! I am getting a different taste to my diy hazelnut (a good taste)! I am actually tasting more of the vanilla cream I am pretty pleased so far!

Dino I have a question for you. I made my sister some 60/40 eliquid at 12mg nicotine. I have not added the flavoring yet, because I wanted to see if I should add more or less flavoring than I do with my 6 to 7 mg eliquid I make for myself. In my favorite eliquid I make 15ml (60/40 7mg), and I add 15 drops of hazelnut and 10 drops of vanilla cream. I made her 30ml of 60/40 12mg nicotine. So would I add 30 drops of hazelnut and 20 drops of vanilla cream? I font normally mix rliquid higher than 9mg nicotine so I do not know if the nicotine makes a difference on how much flavoring I should use. Thank you

Yes just double it up. The only time I add more flavoring is if the nicotine is high to help hide it. 24 or higher.
