I was wondering if anyone has any idea how long it's going to take for madvapes to process their backlog of orders. I know they're in the process of preparing to move, but with 1284 orders waiting to be processed I'm concerned about how long it's going to take for everything to ship. I have a friend who processed an order, at my recommendation, last Thursday and it hasn't moved out of processing yet. Personally, I'm only coming up on the third business day on my order.

They may say that here, but on their website they state:

We will not be shipping any orders from May 9th through May 13th. Orders placed after May 7th, may not ship until May 14th when we resume shipping.

and

We usually ship within 24 hours for order placed Monday through Thursday but please allow up to 72 hours for your order to be shipped.

A lot of people don't check this forum before they order. Heck, I've been a member for years here, mostly lurking, and I don't. I tend to look at the website, their electronic storefront you might say. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, I don't know, I just expect a company to make information available on their website since not everyone is aware they post on a specific forum.

Sorry if I sound a little testy. My wife, a nonsmoker, passed away on April 17th of a melanoma that metastisized to her lungs. One of her few last requests was that I break my 20+ year smoking habit, getting back on my e-cig by our anniversary. I agreed to it and our anniversary is on the 8th. Unfortunately my e-cig was shattered by a careless nurse while at the hospital. I'm having to replace my entire kit, effectively.

Now, I know I'm only coming up on the third day since my order. But I also know how long it takes a package to get here from Madvapes given my shipping method. I live just a few miles from my regional hub, I don't wait for mail.

But if there's going to be a lengthy delay, such as my friend who has been waiting 6 days so far, I need to make alternative arrangements so I can keep my promise to my wife.

Sorry for the loss of your wife.

Don't let someone else foil your promise. Likewise, don't blame it on anyone else. It's your promise. Own it and make it happen.

Late Saturday night, I made a decent size order with juice and a PV.

I received an email early today saying that it shipped.

Hope this helps.

Best of luck with the vaping. :)

It does, and I greatly appreciate it.

Don't get me wrong, I own this. If it's not here in time I'll go to one of the few local suppliers and pick something up to last me for a few days. I'm lucky enough to have two suppliers with decent selections within driving distance, I just really loathe their storefronts. I've shopped at each once and was, well, let's just say I was less than impressed by their b&m employees.

I would simply prefer to not have to go out and buy the components to make a new kit when I just purchased the components to make a new kit.

Sorry for your loss Wynterbourne..

After the weekends we're usually backed up for a couple of days but most orders from the weekend are out by Tuesday. If you haven't already received a ship notice just post your order # here and I can look into it. Orders placed during the week usually ship within 48 hours.
