I held off on drip tips for the longest time because they were silly-expensive. OK, maybe $10-15 isn't going to break the bank, but it's just too much to pay for a few cents worth of plastic or metal. I finally broke down and bought one of the nickle-plated tips from good prophets a few months ago because they were the first to have them for something approaching a sane price - $6.
I loved the design, but not the material. I vape at 5V exclusively, and the metal got too hot too quickly. Still, I suffered through it because I refused to pay more - partially out of principle but mostly out of stubbornness.
Last week I went to madvapes to restock on attys, and noticed they were selling delrin tips now. The price was too good to pass up: $3.59. I got two. They work great. They fit perfectly and don't get hot. Finally someone sells good drip tips for a reasonable price.
