I just built my first VV Box Mod.. $17.50 from madvapes. Getting 1.3 to 7.2 volts.

I love my provari but I could have 10 of these for the same price. I see if it lasts though. I watched several hours of soldering tutorials first. I made a couple of stupid mistakes which I fixed but for now its working.

No amperage limit circuit so I can crank my 1.5 ohm Stone tank up to 7.2 volts. That is 35 watts. The juice tasted putrid but it did work.

Regulator seems to get real hot so I am taking it easy on length of toots and spacing out the hits so I don't melt the regulator chip.

My DCT tank vapes great at high voltage too.

If you have the stones to build it. I definitely recommend this kit. It took me 5 days to work up the courage to build it once i received it.

Took less than an hour. Next one should take 15 minutes now that I know how to do it.

If theres room, put like two pennies against the regulator chip. Itll work as a heat sink, and it keeps the heat down quite a bit.

I thought about buying the regulator board kit and building my own tube mod with a voltage display..but it would need a heat sink because the regulator puts off heat. If I could find a decent tube or flashlight (I'm sure I could if I looked around) I could probably build one for under $30.

After I read about that one stacked battery mod venting I decided to just buy a LT..I know the batteries in that mod probably weren't the right ones and the mod wasn't probably vented correctly though..plus they just had come off the charger and you should wait after charging batteries before using them..that's not a worry in a plastic box though because it couldn't fragment because it's not sealed tight

I might still build something in the future though since I've got a Dremel style tool now. I'm thinking about making it out of wood or even trying to build a VV pipe..the only problem with building a pipe is the space for 2 batteries. I could always buy a boost regulator and build a pipe mod though with a IMR battery.
