A little smaller than an Efest IMR flat top.

Ten bucks !
Worth every penny too.
(As he takes another vape of DIY ButterRum....:vapor:....yum !)

I did the same with my wick...made loops.
Also thought that I would like it in SS...but I can mod the aluminum- not so easy with stainless.

USinchains....stop dropping them ! :D
(And looks really nice on the Natural...that is what mine is on now !)

Check out the vapure facebook page for a video I posted with my dual coil. Should be a link to how I modified it too.

Sent from my pho...my portable communications, navigation, and media command console.

San Diego in the house, lol

LOL, not gonna happen, I'm a pv KLUTZ! I even dropped it on the beach and filled it with sand, rinsed it and kept on going. :) I still love it though, for it's size, light weight, and makes clouds. Farther spaced posts would be a good thing, and less base to leave more room in the cap, maybe a juice well. Although that would all likely push the price way up into the 15 dollar range, haha.

Gummy...
You be the first to try a Ceramic...and report back to us with photographic proof !

Haven't heard from anyone using ceramic yet..but I'm sure it will be done.

scubabatdan on youtube put a piece in a phoenix dripper. i've tried mesh on drippers and didn't like the inconvenience to having to drip even more frequently. flavor didn't change much, but it did get alot warmer.

i think ceramic would be the same

I don't think it would be practical to use a ceramic wick in a dripper as with ss-only meshes. Granted, what I've seen with SS in the IGO-L is something else. SS/Silica hybrid wicks do work nicely, though.

i thought this was an rda thread...but since we're talking about the igo-l....i did a hybrid mesh/cotton wick set up...and it did work great, i had to drip more often then i would like to vs. pure cotton wicks. my current set up is with a single wire dual coil set up with dbl'd 3mm cotton wick using 26awg coming in at .3 ohms. made for a warm buy moist vape. good for lounging or cigar vaping but i'm im a chain vaper when i sit my behind down. 20130328_111953.jpg20130328_112456.jpg20130328_113638.jpg20130328_113856.jpg

Well, I don't have any pictures but I did recoil and rewick my black ST RDA last night.
Coil came in at 1.3 and used two loops of washed and dried butchers twine.
The thick sweet Maple Pecan juice I have been DIYing and Vaping has a tendency to gunk up the silica wicks quick...
So I thought I would try cotton. It works perfectly on my Natural with a 18650, huge clouds, sweet clean taste and holds a giant load of juice.
Very pleased !

Went from the giant stuff to the 'tiny'.... Recoiled and rewicked two eGo-C, type B atomizers too last night.
First one took me a half hour...very, very small parts, tiny little holes in the ceramic cup for the legs of the coil wires had to be reamed out with a tiny dentist drill bit. By the second one, I was getting good....only took 15 minutes-start to finish.
They Clocked in at 1.8 ohms and 2.1...not too shabby. Whoda thunk they could be rebuilt at all.

.3ohms! Holly smack man, didn't know you could do that. I made one that came out to .4 one time and the battery spring on my mod got so hot it burnt my finger. Plus my "short stop" module wouldn't work with it... figured those signs where enough not to use that coil and quickly re did it.

I've physically seen someone vape at 0.25ohms... they said they liked it that way.

i vaped the igo-l at .3 ohms with the pictured set up, i have a video on youtube. the vape was warm but really moist at the same time, not chain vapeable at all, it's a real loose juice ..... and i don't have the luxury to drip and drag. just an experiment i had to experience. my all day vape is mainly .8 ohms on everything.

shout out to my boy mrmarc
