Okay, so I know since I've gotten the Magma carry case charger, I've been praising it and suggesting it left and right. Well, last night I received my second one(backup/one for the girlfriend if she actually uses the thing), and it was pretty much DOA. At first it wouldn't charge. I could hit the button and see the battery status, but then after a few minutes when it finally decided it wanted to charge, I walked away from it to let it charge and go do other things. When I came back into the room maybe 5 or 10 minutes later, the green charging indicator light was no longer on. I tried hitting the button and it doesn't do anything. It's completely dead. Now this is almost the exact same thing that happened the first time I got one of these, except the first one got stuck in an endless loop, showing me that it was being charged whether connected to anything or not. Volcano replaced the first defective one. The one they sent me works. Now the one I just got doesn't work either. I hope they replace it with a WORKING one, but if you have to go thru 2 or 3 of these damn things just to get one that works, don't bother. It's nothing against volcano as I'm sure they're not the ones putting them together. But I think it couldn't hurt for them to stop selling these things, maybe QA check them before they're sent out... or maybe the manufacturer needs to rethink whatever the manufacturing process is because SOMETHING isn't being done right here. It's a great little PCC that I think looks cool as hell, but this is more hassle than it's worth. If I ever buy another PCC, I guess I'm stuck with something that's the size of a pack of cigs because I'm not gonna keep dealing with defective items. Now I have to wait like another week or two to get a hopefully working PCC... Hooray.

For those of you who don't know, THIS is what I'm talking about: MAGMA ecig carrying case charger

Why can't someone just make a PCC that works with manual batteries and doesn't cost $20 or more? This is really frustrating now.

Sorry to hear about your luck. Sometimes duds occur. I have two myself and just gave a friend a third. Haven't had any problems with them yet. I have had stuff from them in the past that was either DOA or poorly functioning. Their customer service sent out new ones and squared everything away as quick as possible.

Yeah, I know duds occur, but 2 out of 3 just seems really bad. And it's not necessarily Volcano's fault(I still say they should test things before they're sent out), but I hate having to wait as it is, and now I have to wait at least another week or two to get a working one, if the one they send me works. 66% failure rate is terrible. Once I sent out the case, it didn't take too long to get my working one back, but they screwed around for like a week before even telling me i could send it back. I would have just sent it back immediately, but I remember reading something about if you send it back without their ok, they charge you more money, which I think is ridiculous. And in all honesty, their customer service seems worse than Blu to me. There's always someone to actually talk to at blu. I could never get a human on the phone at volcano, just a voice mail. And I didn't have to contact them before sending it back. I just put it in the mail, and in a week of me taking it to the post office, I had my working replacement. Volcano isn't TERRIBLE, just slow and mostly unavailable.
