Infinite Magma Clone
Pros:
- Easy to build
- Great flavor
- Holds a lot of juice because of the deep wells
- Does not leak if held upright
Cons:
- It's not a cloud chaser

Plume Veil (Vume Bell) clone
Pros:
- Great flavor
- Thick dense clouds
- Easy to build
- Drip tip never gets hot with high wattage
Cons:
- Leaks very easily from the negative post holes
- Holds very little amount of juice

That pretty much sums it up....

Honestly they're such different beasts in my opinion. The plume veil when built "normally" around the .3 to .8 range is all around beastly, but can't hold much juice. The magma in that range is brilliant on flavour and holds tones of juice.

The plume veil however is far more versatile imo, and can be used for cloud chasing, duals, quads, flavour chasing, etc etc. But it can't hold much juice! The magma is strictly a flavour atty. It does mostly that, and really well.

Personally I don't take my plume veil outside of my house/vape meets because it's kind of obnoxious to blow those clouds while going about your day. I take the magma with me quite a bit because the flavour, again, is awesome and it draws less attention :p

As for clone brand, I can't help ya there as mine came unmarked from fast tech.

What ohm range do you like to be in? That's going to be the answer to your question. I like running around 0.4ohm and the magma being so thick holds heat in like crazy. But i still like it, but know this, deep wells are cool and all but it needs to be kept upright like a genny, even worse actually, or it will still out, also the magma has a threaded cap which I hate.

Personally I much prefer the quasar, I have one and a clone as well and the tobacco Clone on eBay is ten bucks and it's fantastic. Better flavor than my magma.

I don't need to really be much below .6, flavor is what I'm after. It needs to function dual and single coil. I'll get to quads down the road. Clouds are not important...

Magma has worked superb for me. Plume Veil leaking issue is a turn off so I never got one. I tried one and really like the air flow. If Aether Tech fixes the leaking problem, I may get one. Magma can leak too, but I hear the Plume Veil is bad. Between the two, I'd get the Magma. I have an Infinite Magma and it is top quality. Absolutely no issues. Many people have said the Infinite is so close to the authentic that you can't tell the difference. Some even have said the Infinite has better threading on the top cap than the Paradigm.

I just ordered a Plume Veil today. Based on all the RDA's I have looked at (and there have been many), no RDA comes close to offering more air flow options than the Plume Veil. Two air holes coming from the bottom, two from the sides, and two from the top. I have no idea how good this dripper is because I haven't vaped it yet. It gets pretty stellar reviews across the board as both a flavor and cloud chaser (I couldn't care less about clouds but to each their own). i would have added a Magma to my order except they only had the Tobeco. I don't do Tobeco. I'm most interested in the Veritas but waiting for a quality clone to come out. The Veritas , by all accounts, is top shelf in all measurable categories plus has the benefit of being the most leakproof. A very interesting design and worth your time to investigate.

I've gotten tied up with the kids all day, so I haven't had time to buy anything. The Veritas looks very interesting. Thanks for the info!

Between the Veritas and Magma, which I have both, I'd recommend the Magma just because it is much easier to build on. The difference in flavor is little. Vapor production goes to the Veritas, if that is important to you. Magma is more prone to leak than the Veritas. The a Veritas is just a pain in the rear to put a coil on compared to the Magma.

I was just about to say, the magma is great and i dunno about you guys but it makes pretty big clouds for me. The only thing im not likin about it is how easily it does leak if your not careful about filling it. The air holes are right under the coils, so if you drip right onto the coils it will go straight down the airhole and out the sides. Kinda a buzz kill the first time i used it. Other than that it is awesome

Bigger clouds than your average clearo or Kayfun, sure.
But compared to a drilled out dripper or a plume veil or similar, the magma is not close.

I don't know why the Veritas has to be so hard to build. I've seen many videos and it seems they always take the hard route. I would build the coils off the device and then attach...like you would do with a Kayfun.
