Dripping while driving?!? That seems like a dangerous activity if I've ever heard of one.

To answer your question, I'm pretty sure that a magnet will not affect the batteries or the atty. Because of the composition of the batteries used, none of the parts that chemically react should be magnetic. The amount of pull that a magnet would need to cause a problem would probably pull all the iron right out of your blood first.

I hear it's much safer to do it if you are also texting while driving at the same time... :)

Yes!! gotta get me one of those qwerty phones though, typing long messages on the number pad is getting old. I would just toss my ecig in a cup holder but then I'd have nowhere to put my beer and my girlfriend usually sits on my lap while I drive so... gonna give the magnet thing a shot.

If you really need to secure something nothing in the world holds like 4 1/2 in. drywall screws. You can put them almost anywhere and as long as you use enough they hold up anything. Great for roofing, hanging pictures, reattaching the headliner in your car, plugging holes in a garden hose....anything. My grandpa always said, "If you can't caulk it, screw it....with drywall screws." I swear he fixed a 1970 Montgomery television once with drywall screws.
