my vamo v3 died last week and now i'm using a v6. i find that my panasonic 3400 mAh battery lasts nearly twice a long as it did in the v3.
i'm guessing the v6 has a much more efficient driver so i applaud vamo!
also, i've read that protected cells shouldn't be used in a mod. the panasonics seem to work just fine, should i be concerned?

no, i usually pull my bat when it goes to 3.5V. with the v3 it would take about 36 hrs. to get to that point. the v6 went for just short of 3 days. i don't rely on the cutoff, altho i get caught by it now and again. i'm happy.
but about the battery i'm using....am i ok using my protected pana 3400 in my vamo v6 vaping at 11.5W on a 1.8 ohm bvc?
i found a closed thread about this cell, but a lot of the math was confusing....

3-4% is the industry standard across the globe when it comes to ALL faulty electronic devices out of the box; Sony, Samsung, LG, Apple, ATI, Nvidia, Intel, etc etc, etc, etc.

You are one of the few lucky people, who have first hand experience with in 4%. There is no 100% guarantee that every electronic device, including batteries, will work equally at any given time.

I know i know, your friends and your cousins brothers battery worked perfectly. But, we dont live in a perfect world. Perfection simply does not exist no matter how long you hold your breath.

This is why warranties exist in the first place.

ok, so i may have had a defective v3 from the jump. all i can say is that it worked well while the cell drained and it was used daily since october. i'm happy the v6 seems to work even better. at 60 years old i've learned nothing is prefect and expect things will break. thanks for the input my friends.
@crxess - thanks for your math skills ;-)
