Hello Majors.

Saw this and was inspired this morning. Look at the kids beautiful smile.

We're all just souls trapped in our bodies and this kid connected with his before the world got to him and convinced him he was only mortal. He's five years old and he's playing Bach for his second piece. In my opinion, this is proof that God exists and therefore, we can rise above anything.

Good Morning Major and the ever lovely Mrs. Major

and thank you Imeo and Yardbyrd. I love the people in this thread. Major and all his friends are so special in the way they care for each other. It has meant much to me with my pain and problems to come here and always find love and good cheer. It is a warm and loving place.

I am sorry for your illness ByeBye and hope you will be feeling better soon. Dspin, those are the most beautiful horses I have ever seen. It seems wrong to even just call them...horses. They are so majestic and magical.

Girls it is good to see all the beauty that you always inpart and other friends and everyone that just says......hello, thank you.

I was thinking of morning since it is almost 7 a.m. here and how morning must look different to all of us in whatever part of the land we live in. The first picture is almost like looking out my door. The other pictures are places I have been or wanted to be. Let us all have a cup of coffee or tea and join together under the sun (or moon) that binds us all, as one family.

hugs,
Morri

Good Morning Major! Good Morning Mrs. Major!

I finally got through one of the roughest weeks I've worked in a long time. I took the time to take my wife out for dinner at a new diner in town and we weren't dissapointed! She had boneless fried chicken breast, black eyed peas, sqaush casserole, and a baked sweet potato. I had delcious smoked turkey breast, macaroni and cheese, okra and stewed tomatoes, and a baked sweet potato. We both enjoyed homeade cornbread that was rather like a thick pancake, sans sugar, but oh so tasty! We carried out our S.deserts, for later, chocolate cake for me and peach cobbler for my wife. Wow that supper was a smogasbord of delicious flavors, colors, and textures.....very comparable to this wonderful thread somehow! :)

What I mean is we have all these various and sumptious ideas, quotations, colors, and well wishes that mix together so well and feed the mind and spirit the way our meal fed our bodies. Also....let's not forget the carry out desert!

Good morning Major! Good morning Mrs. Major!

I hope you both are well and still marshalling your respective reserves of strength to carry on the fight!:thumb:
I keep moving on, day by day, week by week...etc. not knowing, most days, how in the heck I muddled through!
It's mind over matter...if you don't mind it doesn't matter!:)

Hence todays quotations...

“The good Lord gave you a body that can stand most anything. It’s your mind you have to convince.”
~Vince Lomabardi
