For some strange reason,me thinks the clones are just the ''originals''....''repackaged'' on sold tru FT.Its all about the hype and money. The ''real'' Hana mods are sold out at 250 bucks a pop so people think when they seen the ''clones '' at 50 bucks a pop they are getting a deal but in reality they proberly they cost a few bucks to manufacture, ill bet the ''orginal'' makers are in bed with fast tech.Nothing wrong with this tho as im still happy with FT. My point is,Its better to sell thousands of mods at 50 bucks than sell a few for 250.Its all about marketing, they are not stupid. They proberly make the clones with sloppy threads on the 510 connections just to get us to buy extra parts.Dont forget folks, its always about the cash.

That may well be true.

A common marketing practice is for a store like WalMart to put a very low cost TV, a mid-range TV, and a very high priced TV side by side. They don't expect to sell many of those top end models (and for the few they do sell, they are high profit.) The purpose isn't to sell the high end models, it's to make that mid-rang model look like "a really good deal".

Studies have shown that a lot of people will think "I want a good one, so I don't want the cheapest one they sell, and that expensive one is just way too expensive, but that mid-level model looks just right for me". It's sort of a Goldilocks marketing strategy. "Too cheap, too expensive, just right".
