making own flavors???

what are the dangers and things to avoid when making your own flavors? i like the idea of taking two juices that are "store" bought, but if i decided to get creative, what are the "do's" and "donts" i'm not trying to take away business from the manufactures...but i am trying to play a little with my own creations. (as seen on a previous post with my french vanilla expresso flavor) not to mention i'm the type of guy that likes to learn all sides of something i'm interested in.

Don't use flavors that are oil based. Avoid LorAnns coffee (very dark dye and it kinda sucks, imo) LorAnns rootbeer is too dark too. It's probably not good for the atty.

I was a bit dissapointed with the cream soda I got from a vendor and I added LorAnn's english toffee to it and OMG I can't quit vapeing!!! My mouth is sore I've vaped it so much the last hour. I wouldn't mix the "raw" nicotine stuff but this type of mixing works for me.
