Will The Mako accomodate equivalent protected batteries?

Will the different tube sizes be available as stand-alone items, or will we need to purchase an entire assembly to get the different size options?

Price ranges?

Warranty?

Will they be available for purchase from US-based vendors?

Will The Mako accomodate equivalent protected batteries?

The only unprotected battery currently is the minno 3.6V battery.... all the rest are protected. Extra precautions for people considering using unprotected batteries (as I do), are vent hole on the end pointing directly away from the face, and unlike a lot of custom built PV's, the internal casing will be insulated to help lower the likelyhood of a short circuit thereby lessening the chance of a battery overheating.

Yes - tubes available separately.

Price ranges?

£60 for a complete Mako (single size) starter kit including accessories.

Warranty?

1 year

Will they be available for purchase from US-based vendors?

Inevitably yes - currently in negotiations.
