Malty toffee flavour... banana?

Got my BWB shipment in today (born on Jan 30th) so I figured 2 weeks in transit (normal for up here in the mountains) was enough steeping time for me to check them out.

To me, malty toffee tastes like vaping an over ripe banana. Would that be the toffee part of the equation? Is regular Malty quite different? And will this flavour change if I leave it alone for a while?

I get NO Banana in my Malty Toffee vape what so ever, that's strange you taste Banana in this to me.

I wouldnt be scared, try them so you know what the difference from fresh to steeped is.

maybe the cartos has a sort of factory flavor that needs to be primed through. maybe that factory "flavor" mixing with the malty makes for a banana.

I don't think it's that, since the cartos haven't changed any other flavours I've tried. It just seems to be extremely sweet, like that banana that's got more brown than yellow, almost sharp and tangy. The scent of the juice isn't as 'bananay' as the taste, and the exhale smells just like toffee. I'm hoping that aging the juice will bring the flavour closer to the scent.

I'm going to uncap all the juices and leave them overnight, then seal them up and park them in my basement juice cupboard til they're a month old. I'll give them another 2-3 weeks after that. I figure if I don't like them by then, someone in the Canada classies will.

I would not leave them uncapped for overnight...just uncap...re cap & shake them...leaving them uncapped ages them too quickly~

I have noticed this with my Casa. It was very good when I first tried it then I traded for some that was a month old and its twice as good. It got a liitle darker and man is it Smooth!

I also get a banana note from mine. I'm going to let it set for a week and then come back to it. I got a few bottles to experiment with steeping as I've heard from lots of people that the flavour on this one really changes.

The Banana in Malty Toffee is just too funny. There never has been any in it and there is no way for cross contamination as they are made at seperate times. This is where taste is subjective and when one mentions it the thought is there LOL. The only way is if someone mixed it in with something else with Banana.

I've been vaping with malty toffee now for 9 months and I don't get any sort of banana flavoring to it. I get a creamy, sweet, toffee like taste everytime. But since everyone's taste buds are different I can't really argue. Even as I am heavily puffing away at it as I type this I'm trying my best to interpret banana in it and I can't. I'm going to have to go out and buy a banana to compare.

I wonder if getting different tastes from the same juice has something to do with the delivery system. When I use an atty I always get a nutty undertone to everything I vape. But with my taste buds I get a truer flavor when I use carto's. Strange I know

The banana-ish flavour will wear off, I'm sure. It isn't exactly banana - more like something that makes me think of bananas. Can't quite describe it.

I guess when the juice is so fresh that you have to shake it up to get the colours to merge you ought to leave it be!

Maybe that slightly sweet creaminess of the vape is being interpretted by some as banana. I had to go out and buy one today and eat it while vaping malty toffee just to see if I could pick up anything like it and....nope.

Took a bite of banana and got a taste of - banana.
Took a drag of malty toffee and got - that complex subtle taste of malty goodness with a hint of toffee candy.

I had a similar experience. I love the Malty and decided to try the Toffee version. I didn't care for the Malty toffee at first and let it sit for almost a month. I came back to it and now I can't put it down. That banana taste is gone, and it tastes fantastic now.
