Man, I've read Denatured, Rubbing and Pure Grain alcohol along with water. What's right???

I would never use denatured (might as well use turpentine, acetone, or gasoline). I would not use rubbing alcohol. Rubbing is probably OK, but I wouldn't want to use it. Cheap vodka is cheap - and works well. PGA is too expensive.

I agree about the denatured, because of the additives, but rubbing alcohol (isopropanol w/water) is ok... Only if you boil your attys afterwards. The alcohol has a lower boiling point than water, and when placed in boiling or near-boiling water, the alcohol boils away in seconds, leaving no trace behind.
