I fell in love with vaping due to a friend that is now re-selling eGo products through a local company that produces juice. He hooked me up one night with his personal unit to use at an event I was photographing, I was ready to stop smoking that night. It has been over two months since I have touched a cigarette and now I am on a mission to get everyone I know that smokes to move over to vaping.
My first victim was my Uncle Dennis, a 50 year plus smoker that now hits a random smoke every week or two, but all the other time he is vaping. His kids are so very happy and he is now feeling great, lost his constant cough already. He loves trying to the new flavors and being a bit of a geek as well, the equipment also appeals to him.
My other victim has been my Uncle Larry, a smoker of 'light' cigarettes, but a smoker non the less. He is now using an eGo 510 unit (bought two of them already so he has 4 batteries). His units last me almost all day, but he is looking at having it replace his current habit once he smokes the last of his cigarettes. He loves it so far, only been on it for a couple weeks now, but it's a start.
One of my friends Rob is a cigar smoker, working on him right now. He loved my eGo Twist setup, running a dual coal carto with a nice berry flavor.
Finding many of my friends that like to vape but were using some of the crappy stuff found at gas stations. Passed my unit around Saturday night at a burlesque event and now have a few of them getting better quality equipment. Education is the key to getting more people using a PV.
I personally helped sell a total of 5 of the 510 kits from GotVapes while they had them on the cheap. Great way to get others to try it for little money and help convert them over to bigger and better things.
I will continue to do so, hoping to make a dent in the amount of people I know that smoke. I will never go back, I find this more enjoyable and I LOVED to smoke. I was paying almost $8 a pack for my premium brand smokes here in IL, so this has saved me a huge amount of money, not to mention my heart and lungs.
