I was thinking a tube DNA20 26650 would be AWESOME
I was a big fan of tubes until I got my Mini, which is a rectangular tube. There's no comparison. From my "review" a few pages back:

The Mini fits perfectly in your hand (at least my hand). It's a sensory experience rolling it in your hand while holding it. Rotating a round tube isn't as sensual as rotating a square tube. Make whatever jokes you want, it feels good.

I was trying to get some mods finished by today, but I forgot it was national hockey day. There was way too many good games on for me to focus on much else. That and the Walking Dead. :)

I will get them finished and listed tomorrow, probably late afternoon. I have at least 4 dna20 mods in the 'new design'. Also working on a mini and a 26650 dna12.

I seem Basil Ray's Mod at the MN Vapors meet yesterday and fell in love. I would love to have one. When will you have more.

Today -- if you're fast enough!

For those who are using mcm20 did you check the real voltage of your battery when the screen indicate "check battery" ?
For me the battery still get 3.6v minimum each time, is it same for you, normal or ?
Heard than some dna20 has a cutoff too high for battery.
Singha, I have not yet used the dna20d (eagerly looking forward to an MCM20) but I am fairly familiar with other Evolv gear. I know Kick's low batt cut-off stutter vapes at 3.2 volts under load which can read 3.4 to about 3.6 unloaded. I am fairly sure it is the same for dna12. I think this may be the standard cut-off for Evolv gear - as a safety feature and it also should prolong the life of the battery. Over draining cycles can shorten both the individual charge cycle "life" and the number of charge cycles overall. This range (unloaded) can result from a variety of factors including overall connectivity efficiency of the complete circuit, condition of the battery, battery rating, number of charge cycles on the battery, type of charger and charging patterns, etc. While 3.2 loaded may be a bit on the conservative side, Evolv gear can only read while loaded and I would not be surprised if Evovl decided to use that number for both safety and overall smarter battery management.

The check battery indicator you are getting maybe the standby mode, if I let mine sit for a while when I go back to use it, the screen shows the battery bar fully drained, and when I hit the fire button I get "check battery", but if I give it about 30 seconds it recovers back to true voltage.

Yes i saw this jkmtwo and also than you can use it even if it seem to be sleepy after standby mode and that it does not show real battery jauge, just was wondering if 3.6v is the normal voltage to change battery or if you go lower.
But don't worry matador or others i like my mcm20 and think more about buying another one than selling it. :)
