Someone was looking for a viable upgrade to a provari on FB -- so i thought of you and threw up a link......
Love the new cover design. With that magnet setup it would free up the space on the sides of the box to move the fire button around to the sideMight be worth a try, I know I would love a side fire button.
Thanks Ripple! So when are you going to pick up one of my mods?![]()
I was a big fan of tubes until I got my Mini, which is a rectangular tube. There's no comparison. From my "review" a few pages back:I was thinking a tube DNA20 26650 would be AWESOME

Rotating a round tube isn't as sensual as rotating a square tube.
I was trying to get some mods finished by today, but I forgot it was national hockey day. There was way too many good games on for me to focus on much else. That and the Walking Dead.
I will get them finished and listed tomorrow, probably late afternoon. I have at least 4 dna20 mods in the 'new design'. Also working on a mini and a 26650 dna12.
I seem Basil Ray's Mod at the MN Vapors meet yesterday and fell in love. I would love to have one. When will you have more.

Singha, I have not yet used the dna20d (eagerly looking forward to an MCM20) but I am fairly familiar with other Evolv gear. I know Kick's low batt cut-off stutter vapes at 3.2 volts under load which can read 3.4 to about 3.6 unloaded. I am fairly sure it is the same for dna12. I think this may be the standard cut-off for Evolv gear - as a safety feature and it also should prolong the life of the battery. Over draining cycles can shorten both the individual charge cycle "life" and the number of charge cycles overall. This range (unloaded) can result from a variety of factors including overall connectivity efficiency of the complete circuit, condition of the battery, battery rating, number of charge cycles on the battery, type of charger and charging patterns, etc. While 3.2 loaded may be a bit on the conservative side, Evolv gear can only read while loaded and I would not be surprised if Evovl decided to use that number for both safety and overall smarter battery management. For those who are using mcm20 did you check the real voltage of your battery when the screen indicate "check battery" ?
For me the battery still get 3.6v minimum each time, is it same for you, normal or ?
Heard than some dna20 has a cutoff too high for battery.
My real estate guy is showing someone my house this afternoon, and since I wont be home for a few hours the mods wont be done till later tonight. But I will get them done and listed tonight.![]()
