You all know that I think the manual switch, higher volt devices provide the closes feel and consistency to the real thing and thus are more effective in helping the smoker transition to vaping and stay clear of analogs. If you have an analog from your favorite brand, whether it is in New York or Dallas, it is going to be the same each time. I think it helps when vaping is closer to that consistency and feel in the throat each time you inhale. I find from all the devices I have tried that only the higher volt manual devices get close to that goal. I know quite a few people locally who have gone back to smoking after using a mall device and they all told me the same thing: way too inconsistent and little feel in the throat that you are smoking.
However, if a person smoked a 1/2 a pack or less a day, then smoking was more of a distraction than an addiction. For that person, any PV would work as a distraction and performance is not important.
