If the manual batteries don't fit the existing AC chargers because of the switch, would it be possible to just remove / slice /cut off a part of the charger housing for it to fit in?

I'd avoid cutting it and just remove the button when charging. Your best bet is to buy the adapter for less than $2.

Will the battery recharge in any of my chargers? USB, USB Universal, AC Auto and AC manual from Eastmall.
Is the atomizer different than the 801s I have?
If you have older 801 chargers like I do, you'll need to get an extender for the chargers so that the button doesn't get in the way of inserting the manual batteries. (That's a damfine idea, Eastmall -- thanks.)

On the Eastmall page with the manual 801 batteries, there's a link for that little extender, plus two AC chargers -- the conventional-looking one with the extender included, plus a newer and more versatile-looking charger designed to handle both types of batteries.

(Eastmall rocks, IMO. :)
