I've been using Green Smoke for almost a year now and I couldn't be happier with them. The problem is that I just ran into my first customs issue and they sent my order back. This is the first time this has happened, but it scares me that this could happen again or even worst, no longer let Green Smoke over the border at all.

I'm now looking for back up alternatives for times when an order gets held at customs. I think I'm going to get a 510 because I like the size and they're not as bulky as the eGO types. My main question is how to go about getting juice with that magic little ingredient that Health Canada still has their head up their a*s about. I've found evapers.com already and would like to get feedback on whether it's a good site or if there's a better place to get juice.

Any other advice on using these types of e-cigs would be greatly appreciated. Types of juice, kits, parts etc. I just learned what dripping is, so I'm off to a start!

Rocha, I would start by getting juice from a vendor who sells samples. This way you can try lots of flavors, if you don't like some you haven't committed much $$$. The ones you like you can order in bigger quantities,

I just got the list and I found a supplier that sells their flavours in 5ml bottles, so I'm going to order a variety and try them out. I have one more question before I pull the trigger on an order. I like the idea of a tank style and I think I might go that route unless anyone has had really bad experiences with them. I just need to figure out if the 510T is what I want, or if I should just go with the eGO despite it's size. I'm watching some reviews at the moment and people seem to like the eGO more.

Go with the eGo and don't go with a tank system. They're known to be finicky with wicking issues and dry burning. I suggest a regular or low resistance atomizer or a low resistance cartomizer. I also suggest a tank with a low resistance carto in it. My favourite LR carto is the Boge LR ar 2.0ohms.

I ended up finding a vendor in my home town and I went to see him today. For now, I bought a eGO 650mAh pass through, some Kanger Carts and a drip tip. He also gave me a bunch of juice to try out which is great because I had no idea what I wanted to try. I have to say that I'm impressed with this kit. It's well built, easy and actually fun to use. It's also nice to deal with people rather than doing everything online. I'm done with Green Smoke and going to stick with this. Thanks again to the people who helped point me in the right direction. It feels good to not have to worry about Customs anymore.

Good for you. Glad you have a local vendor you can stop in and see. Nothing like that here. Although all of the Canadian vendors I have used have been wonderful.

Good choice on the kit. I started with a 510 tank kit and it sucks big time. Had major wicking issues and subsequent dry hits. Constantly had to mess with the tank and clean juice excessively leaking in and around the atty. Definitely a frustrating experience for a noob.

Great choice I've tried/have many styles of e-cigs and mods and I still use my eGo all the time! They're great and it's awesome that you got a pass through one. Good call on the Kangers too! Happy vaping!!
