Shel I have both. That's a really tough question to answer. I get about 2.5 ml in the mini and it lasts me about 8-10 hours. Your mileage may vary. As to which I prefer, well I kinda prefer the mini. Each MAP tank has a mind of it's own as they are hand made. On mine, I find that on the large MAP the silicone cap fits all the way into the delrin cup. It never leaks but, for me at least, it doesn't wick as well as the mini I have. On the mini, the silicone cap doesn't go all the way into the delrin cap so it seems to wick better. It could all be in my imagination!!!
Bottom line is that if 2.5 ml gets you through the day, I'd go with that.

i have the fullsize 2.8 MAP and i fill it every 2 days, and im a heavy vaporer.i leave a little room in the top when filling just so its not drowned in liquid. which either size you go with youll be very happy. ive used every carto out there. and this is by far superior to anything else.

That is a great Avatar you have.

I don't have a mini, the large was enough. Leaked all that liquid out the first time I used it. It was retired after 10 puffs.

I don't have both. . .yet. I've been using the MAX Tank just short of a month. Prior to the MAP I used E2 XL's & Clearo's. The MAP uses E2 XL insides, but due to the larger diameter I think it wicks better because the wick material doesn't have as great an angle to get around to get into the cup. If I'm correct in my theory, the same would be true for the mini MAP. I vape continuous when not at work, (at least 2 hits a minute). My MAP Tank lasts me a good 8 hours of pretty solid vaping. My MAP Tank took 5 mL's it's first fill. Once the wick is saturated, subsequent fills take about a mL less. I intend to use the mini MAP Tank, (once I get one), for my daily work vape. It uses the regular length E2 carto insides. It's purported to hold 2.5 mL's of juice. JMHO

Cheers,

Thanks for all of the responses!

I'm leaning towards the mini. I'd rather have a smaller device, overall. Also, currently I use the Clearomizers, which work great for me, and have lasted a full day when I went to a local amusement park with my kids. I guess I'd just like to have the security of a larger amount of juice then the clearomizers provide.

Now I need to decide if I need to get a 2nd MAP, or if just the one should suffice. Pete... do you find having two of them is advantageous, or do you pretty much use the same one every day?

Thanks again for all of your input! Really helps...

MAP has promised me some 12 ml tanks. But, the 18ml I have is his first ever and it is all handmade. So, there is only one like it.

lmao...that is one beastly looking tank, especially on that widdle teeny ego! I finally scored a MAP tank and have it on my provape and it gets all kinds of strange looks and comments. I tell my vaping friends that THIS is the "Cadillac" of map tanks and to eat their hearts out! I'm absolutely lovin' mine and going to TRY to score one of the minis when they hit the site again.
