I got a MAP tank about a week ago, and I have had quite an experience with it over the last couple days. I didn't want to write a conventional review, but more of a impressions with some tips and tricks through out it.
So I got this MAP in a trade, and it came with 4 Ce2's and 3.0 ohms. I popped one after watching a video on how to set it up, and began vaping. I was not impressed. I got very weak hits, either lacking in flavor, or they tasted completely burnt. I adjusted the rubber cap by cutting the holes for the wicks larger, but this helped only slightly. I wasn't happy, so I took out the Ce2 and prepped my next one.
I touched the wicks for about 30 sec. I then loosened the wicks by twisting them. Not so much that they were completely unraveled, but enough that they weren't completely one piece anymore. Next there is a plastic cup that the actual atomizer sits in. I broke the corners off where the wicks go through, just enough to make it roomy. Popped the rubber cap on and began to vape. Not much improvement. I know you were expecting me to say it was amazing, but it wasn't. I got ...... and set it aside.
Then I picked it up two days ago. Wow. I don't know if letting it sit did anything, but it works. And great. All the ravings I had heard about amazing flavor were true. And man does this thing wick. And if it gets dry I tip it upside down for half a sec. Easier then dripping. I've been running it at about 5.3V and it is just great.
I don't know if what I did will work for other people. But its worth a shot. After you get it set up let it sit for a couple days. See if it isn't as good as dripping. Because right now, for me it is. I might never put the thing down...
EDIT: I read another review on this and I did want to agree with one thing. You will not get the old Ce2 out in one piece. And it will take some time. Its in there way to tight. Its ridiculous.
