I just got the Maraxus mod today :vapor: Yes it hits hard..so hard that I'm burning up my cotton balls lol. That's only because I don't know what I'm doing. It's my first mech mod so i don't have anything else to compare it to. But I would say "yes! it's a hard hitting mod".

That would depend - what kind of clone? As in, what brand?
Also, hopefully you are up to snuff on battery safety, and have an ohm meter handy

So...

Yea I have a sony vtc4 and 2 vtc5s coming in the mail I got an ohm meter and everything I just didn't feel like writing all that at first but I guess it would be usefull information I usually like to make my builds under .4 ohms anything doesn't really cut it for me and as of now I have a helios clone and a igo w4

I have the black clone from fasttech.
I would not recommend it in any way at all.
Spring is crap, so I replaced it. The button sparks and gets hot instantly.
I have cleaned it repeatedly, done every fix I have been able to find online, took it to no less than 6 local B&M's, and it still will not work without burning my finger to the bone.
It looks great in my mod stand, and it holds an rba or dripper that I'm not using at the moment wonderfully, but that is all it is good for.
If you get one that actually works let me know. I love the look, the feel, and would love to have one that actually works.

i wasn't sure if it was a clone or not, but the thing was built like a tank. Heavy, bulky, and it hit very well.
As my third mod, one thing i liked about it was how the firing button was designed, compared to the magnet switch on my Stingray.
I would recommend getting one.
