I do not market it as a quit-smoking product. I market is as "The Ultimate Smoking Alternative." Read the FAQ on vaporcig.com.

from the site "If you have wanted to quit smoking or if you know someone that wants to stop smoking, here is the answer. Our engineers have come up with the perfect solution. It is difficult to quit smoking, but you don't really have to quit. Just "make the switch" to The VaporTM E-Cigarette. " Sounds to me like it's marketed as a quit smoking device. (Which makes it fall under FDA regulations - not a good thing)

If you are a naysayer for eCigs. . .

Shark infested it may be... just a shame so many suppliers still haven't learned. Why not jus let the product do the talkin.... saves on the guilt from makin unsubstantiated claims.

Actually, you're right, Magwitch: Let the product do the talking. And that is why I allow local customers to come to our locations to try before buying. My products do speak for themselves, as evidenced by my return customers and referrals.

Thank you for your comments.

Our Motto is: Don't Quit; Just Switch. We do not guarantee that you will quit smoking. "Quit" has such a negative connotation and such finality behind the word. Also, I do not want to give a false sense of security that after quitting cigarettes, you will no longer be an addict to nicotine. Because you will. Just without the carcinogens, though.

By the way, I have now trademarked that motto, so I wish others would quit using it.

Thank you for your comments.

Now this forum has turned into ATTACK MODE. My goodness, it has changed so much since I was an active member several months ago. I am shocked at all the negativity which now abounds this forum.

Yes, you are right. This used to be like a nice little neighborhood street, now it's like driving down the freeway with everyone trying to push you off the road. I for one, wish you good luck with your new endeavor. It's obvious you've put a lot of work into it. :thumb:

Hi there, mEtoke2:

Nice to see you. And thank you for validating my thoughts and impressions of what has happened to this forum. It is almost scary to visit. This place has gone CRAZY WACKO -- and I mean literally!!! But again, I can't blame the ones that have been burned by other vendors. I totally can understand that. But I beg of them: Please take me off of your HIT LIST!!! Again, scary!!!

Thank you for your support and your kind words. I appreciate it.

Best,
Marian

Hi Marian -

I'm a little bit confused about the warranty that you offer? In your infomercial it said your e-cig has a 5 year warranty... but in your post here you said: "Our atomizers have a lifetime warranty, and our batteries have a one-year warranty."

The TV commercial is a subsidiary of vaporcig.com. It is very expensive to run a TV-commercial-based business; therefore, my partner has chosen to give only a 5-year warranty if purchased through tvcig.com. This is why I asked the forum members to purchase from the parent company, vaporcig.com, which has very little overhead and can afford to offer a lifetime warranty.

Good observation on your part, though. And thank you for your comments.

"THE VAPOR electronic cigarette is such an amazing product, it was featured on THE DOCTORS TV show, in January, on KCAL 9 in Los Angeles."

IS there anyway you could show us that infact they used your product from you? The video on tvcig.com is not playing and i have tried it on 4 pc's

Hi Rockbassray:

I have addressed "The Doctors" show in another, later post, Post No. 115 on page 12.

And please try the video on tvcig.com again. I have brought it up on all of my computers at home and at work. It is playing well on all of them as of now. Please make sure you have the latest codecs installed for your video player.

Thank you for your comments.

Bah...Claim all you want, eventually...someone is going to step in regardless and and pose restrictions/regulations. I could claim that the e-cig will make north korea a peaceful and thriving country. Its not going to make the FDA suddenly sweep in and test it for its Government Changing abilities.

You obviously haven't tried my products. Oh, well. I'll just let my products speak for themselves, which is how I get most of my customers anyway.

Thank you for your comments -- I guess. Maybe I'll talk to you again, but this time as a customer. Best of luck to you in the meantime.

Marian

Welcome back marian, you have been missed :) Good luck with your new business, if the dollar rate was better I would be giving one a try!

Hi Betty:

Thank you so much for your well wishes. I appreciate it

Yes, isn't it awful about the U.S. economy and what has happened to the U.S. Dollar! I do not blame you for wanting to wait to make a purchase. I look forward to your being a future customer sometime soon.

If my throwing in a bottle of eLiquid, 15 ml, in either cherry, mint, or tobacco flavor will help sweeten the deal, please take the bite.

This offer is good for ALL forum members who purchase a starter kit. Just let us know during the ordering process or by using the Contact Form on our Web site VaporCig.com that you are an e-cigarette forum member who wants the free 15 ml eLiquid in _____ nicotine strength and _____ flavor with your starter kit order. You will still also get the free sampler eLiquid.

Best regards, and thank you for writing.

From what I am reading, people are not discounting the quality of your product, but the way you have chosen to market it. I believe many e-smokers are very sensitive to this kind of thing simply because stating unproven claims, especially in a very public way such as television, can be harmful to the industry and creates fertile breeding ground for legislation. People want to be able to continue to buy and sell e-cigarettes legally and without regulation, so they tend to see advertising in this manner as a threat, or in the least, not a smart move. I think if you had come here and said simply, I have designed a really great new e-cig with an easy draw, long-lasting batteries, and excellent vapor, the reaction would have been different. It was the questionable ad that got people riled up.

Well I think 99.00 is cheap for 2 ecigs. Free shipping and the guarantee. Only get two batteries those! And only 1 charger. She states 2 cigs, but 2 atomizers is it and 1 juice. I placed an order. Too good a deal to passup if they work real good. Maybe this will be my best e-cig. I sure hope so........

Hi Rejoice:

Thank you very much for your order. I appreciate your business. The reason we give an extra atomizer is if something goes wrong with it, you will have a spare and won't need to light up a real one. And that is the reason why we give two batteries as well. I wanted to cover all bases.

With today's eCig technology, as improved as it can be as of today, they still can break, burn out, stop working for whatever reason. So if they do, you've got the spare parts and warranties for the broken ones -- if this should happen, that is.

Again, thank you for your vote of confidence in me and my products. You will not be disappointed. I look forward to being of service to you long into the future, Rejoice.

Marian

I stand behind my "claims" as stated on both this fourm and on my Web sites. Our lawyers already tore apart my sites when I was designing them and changed the wording on many of the things I had stated.

But I will let the products speak for themselves, as my customers will see. Thank you for your comments.

Hi there. I live in the Southern California area and I discovered these Vapor electronic cigarettes at a kiosk in Rancho Cucamonga. I bit the bullet and bought one of each styles, one for me and one for my husband. It has turned out to be one of the best things I have bought in a very long time. The employee that helped me was very knowledgable. She also instructed me on the use of the e-liquid: how to use, when to use, where to use, and how much to use. I think this e-liquid is the answer. I have gotten a few of my close friends to give these electronic cigarettes a try. I just can't say enough! :thumb:

Hi Socalvape:

Love your name! Thank you for piping in here with your positive comments. Couldn't have come at a better time. I am pleased to hear that my employees were able to assist you to your satisfaction and also pleased that they were able to sell you on our product. Also, I want to thank you for all of the referrals you have sent our way.

Please let us know who you are through a private post to me so we can send you some free bottles eLiquid of your choosing for your referrals.

And you are right about the e-cig eLiquid being the answer behind getting the best "vaping" experience possible from your e-cigarette. I remoisten my cartridge several times per day, which extends the life of my cartridge well beyond its limit.

If there is anything we can do to be of further assistance, please do not hesitate to call or write.

All you have to do to make the links work, is copy from BETWEEN the () (don't take them along - that's what makes it not working when just clicking on them). Paste what you get into the url-bar, and it works (it does for me this way anyhow).

And Marian, welcome back! :)

Hi there, Katink!

Saying $99.95 is for 2 e-cigs is a bit of a stretch isn't it? I mean, almost everyone considers one e-cig starter kit to include 2 batteries, 1 atomizer, and the relevant charger(s). All you are doing is tossing in an extra atomizer and calling it 2 e-cigs. Since selling a kit with only 1 battery is next to useless, your "sale" is misleading at best, false advertising at worst. Not to mention the "lifetime warranty" on the atomizer; if it is so good why would someone need two of them? It's not like two people could actually share the "2 e-cigs", with only 2 batteries in the kit.

Hi Jammi:

I have already addressed the reasoning behind giving an extra atomizer to go along with the extra battery. No hidden agenda.

Thank you for your comment.

With 2 batteries and 2 atomisers one can make two complete e-cigs. Misleading to those in the forum who are used to suppliers providing two batteries in each kit, but technically true...

I'm a little bit more worried--as someone already pointed out--that there was a bit in the promo video to the effect that since it looks 'cool' even non-smokers can/will want to do it. That's something the anti-cigarette people will take as a black mark against e-cigs -- if they're marketed to attract people to 'smoking'. (It's not something you need to advertise, if someone wants to e-smoke because he thinks it looks cool, he will--you really don't need to suggest it to him).

Hi Nakli:

I am indeed selling to nonsmokers, but only the non-nicotine carts and eCig Liquid from http://www.eCigLiquid.com. I have addressed this in later posts.

Also, I have addressed the reason for the extra atomizer in later posts as well. No hidden agenda. Just covering all bases in order to give the end-user a backup.

The testimonials are not my wording. They are those of the the actual users. We do not edit the testimonials. They are not actors; they are actual customers.

Thank you for your comments.

From the OP:

I also am test-marketing my e-cigs at a kiosk in a very upscale shopping mall in California, which is also doing very well.

Hi Sambu:

Congratulations on your success at your Kiosk. Where are you located? If I can assist you in any way -- it's a tough world out there, as you can see -- please do not hesitate to contact me.

Our kiosk is located at Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga. Please feel free to drop by at any time.

^ not to mention all the healthy claims. You simply cannot claim it's healthy unless there's been a clinical trial to prove it plus extensive lab tests on the chemicals in the product.

Also cant help but wonder whether SoCalVape bought from the OP or not. There's no indication of having a mall kiosk in the OP's website nor in the OP itself.

Hi OutWest:

What or who is OP? As stated in prior posts, our kiosk is located at Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

Hi Marian, welcome back.

As I'm sure you can tell we've been having a lot of discussions on the forum about advertising and marketing, particularly in relation to legal and regulatory enforcement of our devices and eliquids.
