I use a fine point sharpie and write 2 or 3 letters right on the end of the rubber cap. It rubs off a bit, but still lasts awhile. BF for bananas foster AC for atomic cinnacide etc.

I wash and restuff the carts every couple of weeks, along with the rubber caps, so I can change up flavors. I am constantly ordering new ones or getting them in PIF

Any good ideas on how to mark cartridges so you know which flavors they are?

I tried nail polish but it's messy and it wears off.

Permanent marker seems to rub off and sometimes its hard to read.

How do you do it?

I bought a package of those little colored rubberbands from the hair section of the drug store. I put one on the cart and another of the same color on the juice bottle. When I refill, I always know which cart has which juice. I saw this posted somewhere and it has worked great for me!

Check with your local orthodontist and ask if you can get some colored rubber bands that are used with braces. The 1/8 in size is perfect to slip on your carto or cart...make a chart of which colors you use for what flavors. Or Clouds of Vapor sells them, as well as Vapology :)

These are ridiculousness for anyone over 50. It sounded like a good idea so I looked on ebay and found them for "only" $5.50 including shipping. They came yesterday in a regular white envelope that looked like typical junk mail and weighed nothing. I almost threw out the envelope, but, then I looked closer and stamped on the envelope was "orthopedic bands do not discard!"

In the envelope was a small 2in. by 2in clear plastic sleeve with instructions for the intended use as orthodontic elastics and there was a lot of them - at least 50 - but all of them could fit in a spoon and they probably come in 4 or 5 colors - but they are so small and thin it is hard to tell

They are each so tiny and so very thin and they are so very hard to work with - you have to stretch them to the max to get them to fit over a cartomizer, and being so tiny and thin - it is very so so hard to stretch them and fit them over.

I bought these after seeing MistressNomad video - and i do not blame her at all for recommending them. She is only about 21 and is young enough and dexterous enough to handle them. But at my age I can barely see them, much less work with them.

I have these Flavor Bands and they work quite well. I didn't try the ortho ones. And check my profile...I'll be 51 in Nov :)

I think thats what I'm going to do. Its the easiest, safest, and most permanent way. I just realized this last night :)

I guess that could work too! I still like the rubber band system...no reading scratchmarks...just match the colors!!! To each his own!

Just be careful not to mix up the caps when you're refilling more than one at a time! With the colored bands, you leave them on, so less chance of a mixup. Good luck and Happy Vaping!

Not necessarily so! I did manage to band a few of my cartomizers with those obscenely tiny orthopedic bands - and so yesterday at work I was vaping my PA "tart granny smith apple with a little cinnamon red hots" mix which I had banded green, while working at the PC. The problem with the bands is that they ask to be played with - rolling them back and forth down the cartomizwe on to the battery. Later while vaping a 'English Toffee - Bitter Chocolate' which I had not banded, I noticed a green band around it. Obliviously at the time I had changed cartomizers the band had been rolled onto the battery - and later rolled back up.

Since I realized decades ago, I send a great deal of my time in unconscious fumbling- this method is not going to work for me :(

Well, I can't really help with the unconscious fumbling, as I do quite a bit of that myself, but the rubber bands I use are the ones you find in the haircare section of the drug store. They are small, but they are bigger and thicker than the orthodontic ones and not as slippery...Cheaper too!!. You have to double them on the cartos for a tight fit, which might be good cause they're harder to miss! I put the same color on the juice bottle, and I don't even need to read the label. LOL!! I Just match the colors! In any case, I hope you find a way that works for you. Happy Vaping!

I agree with markmcs. I got mine in the same area. The only colored ones I could find had 3 sections. One with the little bands i needed in neon colors and the others were larger. I paid $2.74 for them, cut off the section with the ones I wanted and gave the rest to my daughter. We're all happy now!

Match the color and when you run out of colors, double up the stickers so you've got twice the color combos. Add a marker and it's limitless. They stick great and peel off easily. Anyway, it's another cheap easy option for marking. Personally I'd rather do a sticker than fool with tiny rubber bands.
