Someone just sent me this wonderful photo of me from Vapercon. I'm Mrs. Santa and I have no idea who is on my lap. Yup, there was way too much drinking going on!

Ummmmm.....well I sorta woke up in some guys room! Actually it was one of the guys I went with from Rochester. I had to use his room to change into my Mrs. Santa costume because I was staying at a different hotel. I went back to his room to change back into my clothes but the room was spinning so I layed down on the second bed in the room "for a few minutes". Next thing I know I wake up at 7am, still in my costume with Gary snoring away in the bed next to me! Very embarrassing to say the least!

Vapercon was in October. The second night there was a costume party. Santa is my sweetie, Mike, aka Zenesis here on ECF who makes all the fabulous pv's everyone is knocking each other out of the way to get their hands on one. He looks a lot like Santa so we decided to dress up together.

VaperCon was a blast. I was amazed at the numbers. I think Santa brought the coolest toys down from the North. I got to hold a the SideWinder for the first time and those elves are just amazing.

Yesterday we went to see for ourselves and now you can too.

Isn't that just amazing? The Chicago River was a pit, and now it's so clean they have water taxis downtown. But it's just gross seeing the canoers and rowing teams in the sanitary canal. It still smells bad, no way I would canoe in there even if it's pretty.

Char, it would be awsome sauce to sit around and discuss the minutae of plants, I would just love that. Nobody else I know likes that stuff either. When my kids were little we picked wild strawberries in June, wild black raspberries in July, and wild grapes in September. I still pick wild sunflowers in late summer and give them as gifts in vases, nobody would know I "rescued" them.
