The eFest that the vender said would not work. Well they do just fine by me. I have no data and after spending over 27 years of my life having to deal with tech stuff I could care less. If it works I'm a happy camper. I'm on the ones that came with the vmax I got and they lasted for 4 days and still show 7.2 volts left. But I use different pv's all the time to. Right now I got three going with different flavors in each.
Well the AW13850's showed up last night. Button tops. Took out the eFest, put in the AW's, I guess my vmax just doesn't care what goes in it as long as it's charged. Both work jut fine so far. At least I got 3 sets of batteries now. That should last me a while. 
My efest 18350 batteries after 112 (pair one) and 108 cycles (pair two) have started to crap out. They will only charge with a xtar sp2 @.5a to 4.01v/3.97v on pair one and 3.95v/3.93v on pair two. On the pila charger they cut off at 3.94v/3.92v on pair one, 3.91/3.89v on pair two. Resistance originally on the four was 79/80mΩ on pair one and 82/83mΩ on pair two, now they read as 105/107mΩ on pair one, and 109/111mΩ on pair two. Not real happy about it...
My brother's are doing the same thing. Slightly over 100 charge/discharge cycles and they are starting to die and have less capacity.
Tracking the Panasonic hybrid cell Jackbox sir, going to stick with aw's and them going forward. Panasonic cells have had a good track record thus far, just don't know what the long term durability of the hybrids are.
