So after two whole weeks using the Scylla tank with the ceramic coil and going through 120 ml of juice, the coil is still going strong. Since I was switching flavors, I cleaned out the tank and rinsed the coil under cold running water. Pulse fired the coil on the mod to burn off some of the water from rinsing out the coil, refilled the tank and after 4 or 5 hits, no lingering flavor from the old juice and the coil still vapes like it is a brand new coil. I am officially sold on ceramic coils.
I do notice that it is not 100 percent maintenance free though. Some juice can over time slowly weep through the bottom hardware. After every third tankful of juice, if I put a paper towel over the bottom airflow inlet and blow into the inlet on the other side, a small drop or two of juice will get blown out onto the paper towel.
The Scylla ceramic coils has an extremely wide operating range (rated between 20 and 160 watts). Honestly, I've tried it anywhere from 60-120 watts and the difference is barely noticeable. I vape it around 80-85 watts to help the battery life. On the Laisimo L1, a full charge usually lasts me around 10 hours, or about two tankfuls of juice.
