One of my girl friends wants to take me for my 21st lol. Guess I'm not qualified for the contest either
Was only there once. Got in late at night, slept for a few hours then decided to walk to the local HD dealer - thought it was close - ended up taking well over an hour to get there. Looked around for a bit then headed back to the hotel - on foot. Wound up taking a few detours looking at stuff. Wandered around for about six hours. This was in late May and lots of folks saying it was hot. I was comfortable and enjoying the weather - a bit on the dry side for me as I like high humidity.
Lost a couple hundred o the slots later that day. Next day I won most of it back playing Blackjack. Spent lots of time on those tables for the rest of the week. Broke even at the end so I figured that was a pretty good price for a bunch of entertainment.
Last night there I stayed up all night at the tables - did it to make sure I didn't oversleep and miss my flight out. Worked cause I made the flight and even managed to get a couple naps on the plane which was good cause I can't sleep on planes.

My friend was driving down the highway there in Vegas and we were in a convertible, heading to another area to gamble in. I decided to ride topless to!
I have been to Las Vegas multiple times - for business only, for pleasure only, and for combined business and pleasure. The last time I was there I did what was probably the craziest thing from the viewpoint of the Las Vegas Board of Tourism - I drove through without stopping.

Left our honeymoon 3 days early. We had won so much money we were afraid of giving it back to the casino. So we changed our tickets and shortened the honeymoon. We BEAT Vegas! LOL
I was doing my best to get back to my lil girl. I had just been released from prison and was on my way home, when dangerous convicts commandeered the plane, and crash landed it right there on the strip! I'd carried a stuffed bunny as a gift for her throughout this arduous journey. Seconds before it was washed down a storm drain I grabbed it. I couldn't hug my lil girl without the gift I'd brought her.
As the company "R&R Partners" (who created the phrase) said , along with countless others... not to mention Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher who starred in the 2008 movie "What Happens in Vegas"...

My first visit to Las Vegas was 30+ years ago for a business convention at Caesar's Palace. A co-worker and I arranged for a centurion in full costume to escort us into the evening banquet, one of us on each arm, and walk us up to the table where my boss was sitting. We had a full script worked out, none of which I can remember. But the "prank" was a great success - or perhaps not since I have blocked all memory of the details - or perhaps yes since I have blocked out all memory of the details.

First road trip to Vegas in 1972? It was cheap living then compared, cheap accommodations, cheap entertainment, cheap dinning, cheap thrills! Staying at a cheap motel on the outskirts & hit the strip with a hundred bucks, going up & down, then broke but got a many a free meals & shows with drinks!
With nothing & no gas, it was time to pawn my saxophone & get back to Circus Circus to build my funds to enable our departure, pay for the room & get my instrument back!
Laid down the full 50$ ante in one slot...it paid off one million centavo's & i was back on top, joined the Sky Diving Elvis's Troupe & never looked back, the rest is history, conscience or unconscious, no one knows for certain, but to the best of my recollection!

I have been there a couple times.....but unfortunately I was underage...(but that didn't stop me from throwing some coins into the slots...even though I didn't win anything!)!!...Also like others have said "What happens in Vegas....stays in Vegas!!!"...
vegas - my all time favorite vacation spot - 32 times from the east coast!!!! Was downtown and had one $5 chip left before heading up to bed - stuck it on the Pass line on craps table (which I never played before). And walked away with $1700 in chips 1 hour later
