Maybe the dumbest question ever

I'm sitting here vaping some 18mg "Whiskey" and I'm getting the strongest throat hit I've had so far, in fact I feel like I've been drinking whiskey. I think that's because my mouth, throat and nose are all sending signals to my brain saying "dude, it's not 5 o'clock yet and you're drinking like a fish!"

I've got a bottle of rum flavored juice, I'm going to try it with a coke (as soon as I get one) and see if my brain decides I'm having a rum and coke.

My favorite juice is chocolate and now that I think of it I haven't had any actual chocolate since I've started using it, maybe my brain thinks I'm getting enough chocolate so I'm not having any cravings?

So the question is raised: Suppose one had a problem with alcohol...

It seems that most of the reasons that I never could kick cigarettes was because of the outward signs of smoking, vaping replaced all of those overnight. Has anyone had any thoughts about how some of these flavors might be useful in other areas?

Vaping satisfies al my smoking needs.

The other 2 legal drugs I cannot get enough of are harder to kick.

Maybe coffee flavoured juice would get me off on the caffeine kick

I cannot see that any flavoured e-liquid could replace my sleep juice - ethanol :hubba:.

I wish I was a plant - I could hold my breath and I would be sorted :D.

!st - Where do you get whiskey flavored juice?

Eastmall.net has whiskey, rum, champagne, brandy, lamberti (some Italian wine apparently) and some others I think. I ordered a 20 pack of 5ml sampler bottles and included those alcohol flavors.

My wife is a heavy coffee drinker and has been vaping coffee and black tea pretty regularly, I don't know if her coffee consumption has gone down any. I'll ask her to test it and see if she can just vape in her office instead of hitting the coffee machine.

I don't know for sure about the Alcohol deal since I only drink occasionaly, but I would tend to think if a non alcoholic cocktail don't satisfy an alcoholic, how could a cocktail flavored PV be effective?

I have no idea, I tried professional alcoholism for a couple years when I was in my early 20s but failed miserably at it. I started my days with a screwdriver and finished them with a rum and coke, I put so much effort into it and all I ended up with was a 20+ year analog habit. Nowadays I forget to have my annual beer more often than not.

Our brains are all different of course and obviously the wiring in mine is just completely screwy but it seems to me that if my brain was so convinced that I was drinking that it started acting like it there might be something to the idea.

I imagine a person would have to be a smoker in the first place at the very least.

The human brain is an amazing piece of machinery. All I can say is, if you can fake it out, and make something work, go for it.

2nd - Rusty I would think your coffee flavored juice would need to actually have some caffeine in it for that to work. Which I wonder if that's even possible...

I'm such a coffee fiend being able to vape it along with my nic would probably send me into some kind of orgasmic state of shock... I'd never leave my room  I think my kids might come looking for me when dinner wasn't ready ha! oh what a fabulous idea though... caffeine vaping :p

FWIW, I'm currently vaping rum and drinking a coke, it's like old times, but (and this is BIZARRE) I want a cigarette.

When I sober up I'm gonna try drinking some rum and vaping a coke.

Obviously it's entirely psychological but I do feel a definite buzz, I know it's psychological because I managed to type psychological without having a nervous breakdown.

I just bought the coffe, now I have to try the whiskey too...

There's a definite "paint thinner" quality to it that seems to enhance the realism.

I've been vaping stuff like chocolate and cherry and in the back of my mind I've wondered what's with all this "throat hit" everyone talks about, that whiskey just about burned my tonsils out.

an interesting point I remembered earlier this week is that several years ago there was a diet fad that basically involved "smelling" food scents from a bottle or patch and fullfilling the brain/stomach's need to actually eat them. Cookie scents, chocolate, french fries etc. The scents affect mood and weight loss

I'm sure a quick google will bring it something....
