I also suspect someone at some point will be hospitalized due to cinnamon (cinnamaldehyde) inhalation. Cinnamaldehyde is a known lung irritant, and will cause blisters in the mouth, throat, etc. I get nervous when vendors try to see how hot they can make their cinnamon juices, and the health forum here has many posts from people getting sores and difficulty breathing who are surprised that it is likely their Cinnabomb, Cinnacide, or some other hot cinn juice. And this is no more an allergy to cinnamon than blisters from sulfuric acid are an allergy. Its a chemical burn, plain and simple.

I had asked if the flavor contained Cinnamaldehyde. Time for a flavor change. I love my Wife too much.

I personally think this is a GREAT thing for them to do. How many other vendors have pulled flavors because of a potential health risk? They are going to lose money from this, no question. They are putting their customers before their profits, which IMO makes them a 1 in a million business.

Way to go MBV!

I think the operative point is that nobody knows. Nobody has *any idea* about the long term effects of inhalation of many of these chemicals in the doses we are inhaling them in, so it's reasonable to be extremely cautious (if you don't want to be cautious, it's your prerogative, but if you suggest an incautious approach to others, on your conscience be it).

Quoting Kurt again:

I do not have a list of flavors we should not vape, nor is one likely to be readily available (if someone finds one pls post!). I do have criteria for flavors though. If they:

-dry my mouth and throat out a lot,
-create sores,
-cause a lot of coughing,
-cause shortness of breath,
-generate a lot of mucus,

I will not vape it.

My understanding is that there is little evidence of long term harm from this chemical, it's about acute irritation. Which would suggest that if you don't feel irritation from it (or from any cinnamon flavour that might contain it), then you're OK. But I'm not a biochemist...

My instinct is to avoid large amounts of flavours with a red flag over them until more evidence comes in. I have some cinnamon stuff, and some vanilla stuff, and I'll still vape both of them in small quantities - they don't appear to have any negative effects on me so far.

No more cinnamon roll, or any other cinnamon juices from MBV - according to their Facebook page, they have pulled all juices with cinnamon in them due to health concerns..... Good thing I prefer HHV's Cin City.

Say it isn't so! MBV cinnamon roll was my favorite flavor. Now it's back to the trenches to try samples and spend a bunch of money in search of the replacement cinnamon roll vapor.

I think MBV is being a bit hysterical in light of what there is to know, and if they're reacting to ANTZ, well, there is nothing that will please the ANTZ.

Mbv If you must then post a warning. Why are you so quick to fall prey to one flawed study. If I must I will order elsewhere. I can show you studies that the air we breathe causes cancer. That eggs are bad for you and good for you. The studies mean next to nothing until hundreds if them have been performed. You are mistaken to jump the gun on this. I kill more brain cells from a 6 pack of Heineken.

How I agree with you! Multinational corporations foist crap on us all the time, with government blessings: genetically modified food, benzene, dangerous petroleum based food additives, parabens and phthalates. It's taxes from the working class that our government is always after. Sin taxes. They get away with it because nobody stands up for the working class when we get hammered with sin taxes, but let us try to levy fair taxes on the CEO sector and my god, we're driving country to ruin! Vaping will never be made illegal, just as cigarettes will never be made illegal. We will pay, is all, and pay and pay and pay.

Re-read my post...No, actually I didnt. But its almost like you are reacting like you have a personal stake in defending MBV even though what I said didnt amount in any way to an attack on them. I simply stated that since they eliminated my ADV I have no longer have any reason to do business with them. But I do think they made a knee jerk decision based on a study they dont even understand. I also said it was my opinion. And I do have a couple hundred ml stockpiled. Should suffice until i find somewhere else to buy my juice.

I have part of a 30 ml. bottle left, and a full 30 ml. in waiting, and then it's over.

Actually MBV needed to pull their hot cinnamon candy flavor. It was godawful and made me choke and gasp and cough my head off, but their cinnamon roll is just unmatched in accurate, delicious flavor, and has never gunked up my coils. I guess The Vapor Room cinnamon danish swirl will be my second choice. Theirs is pretty good, close but no match, and they have a limited number of PG/VG ratios to choose from. However, it does vape cleanly, and will have to be close enough until they come to their senses at MBV.

Now, lets see how many people bash them for doing it!

I haven't tried any Yaeliq juices, so any bashing they receive may depend on how good their cinnamon roll flavor was. The problem with the MBV cinnamon roll is that it was wildly popular, due to its delicious, accurate flavor and clean vaping quality. I regularly reorder other flavors from MBV, but their cinnamon roll was the reason I tried any others there at all. I've tried many cinnamon roll vapor flavors from many sellers, and if they taste good, they tend to be dark, thick coil gunkers, and if not, they tend to taste insipid, or they aren't accurate, leaning too much toward maple or butterscotch.

Great im going to die now........blarrrg. I avoided cinnamon juice forever because it was too strong and I literally just got a bottle of mr es napalm, love it and been using it like crazy and it turns out its gonna kill me.

Uhhh....no. It isn't going to kill you. Read the study linked if you are interested.

The cinnamon flavoring can be an irritant, and might have cytotoxicity, whatever that is.....but trust me, you won't die from going through a 30ml bottle of cinnamon flavored e-liquid, lol.

Considering cinnamon flavored e-liquid is my favorite flavor, I can definitely say that yes, it *is* a lung irritant. As someone else in this thread said, cinnamon is the ONLY e-liquid that has caused irritation in my throat/mouth.

Since it caused irritation, I recently stopped vaping w/ cinnamon flavoring. It won't kill anybody though, although I don't *recommend* using it, it is still FAR better than smoking cigarettes.

Also, to the guy who said this thread isn't about bashing MBV - lighten up. Stop being so sensitive. I continue to see people on this forum get butthurt because they see people post negative responses/reviews/comments about a product and/or company they like. If you like the company, great, but this is the internet, there is literally no reason to get butthurt because people express their negativity towards a company or product they dislike!

I LOVE all the people in this thread saying stuff like "it's not going to kill you, it's fine!"

60 years ago people thought the same thing about cigarettes.

If MBV HADN'T stopped sales, and we later found out it was TERRIBLE for your health, all these people saying "screw them, let me vape what I want!" would be outside their door rioting with pitchforks and torches for selling nic goo they "knew" was bad for you.
