I hope I didn't seem sarcastic or anything. I type stuff innocently then post it and then I realize it could be taken the wrong way. That is the problem with text, it doesn't show any emotion. I just wanted you to be safe and not waste money. Some people buy stuff and realize they like what they had better. I did it wrong in the beginning wasting money. When you can I'd suggest getting something like a ipv 4 or Sig 100 or 150 because it is very versatile. You can use a Pro tank, Nautilas, Subtank, Herakles or RDAs on it. And you have plenty room to grow. I think the trend is going to be temp control for awhile. That one device will benefit you no matter what your vaping style becomes. Then if you decide you want a mech then go for it. My opinion shouldn't be what you base decisions on lol but I wish someone would have gave me that advice when I first started

hey no man, i was not offended, i was actually being honest when i thanked you, im new to this world and to be honest i get more and more confused as i dig in lol... (Y)

I would be inclined to think if the dripper was vape pen based thats the old school 510 prebuilt drippers

It's not as much the RDA that I worry about as it is the mech mod. With people in a shop helping and teaching you then you could do it. With a good regulated mod it has built in safety features so you're more protected as you learn. With a mech, you are holding a pipe bomb if you mess up. But even with a regulated mod it's better to know battery safety in and out and ohms law because even though It's got safeties they could malfunction. I certainly don't want to scare you from anything, I just want to make sure you are aware

Everything is an atomizer...that's the coil that "atomizes" the liquid. The difference lies in how you supply the liquid.

A dripper is a device that you usually build your own coil (atomizer) and wick assembly. You supply the liquid by dripping directly onto the wick a coil...a little at a time.

A cartomizer has a filler (polyfill) that you saturate with liquid. the polyfill holds the liquid until needed by the wick and coil.

A clearomizer started as a clear cartomizer. It has a tank to hold the liquid until it is needed by the wick and coil.

There are gray areas where you can have any number of combinations that may fit some or all of the above. Not everything fits neatly in one category or the other.

Ok based on what you said what would be the best approach for a newbie for the best vapor/flavor without getting into the rda dripper?

Thanks

I may not be the best to advise here. I'm an old school guy who has not really jumped into some of the newer trends...and I'm sure others will come along with their suggestions.

I'm still of the opinion that a good starter setup is a simple Kanger Evod starter kit. This will let you get your feet wet, learn the ins and outs, won't break the bank.

Based on my experience, go with what many believe is the best clearomizer on the market -- the Aspire Nautilus (standard or mini). Good vapor/flavor production yet with the simplicity of a clearomizer.

You can use the above with a variable voltage eGO battery (Spinner, Evod, or Twist), or even better a regulated variable voltage mod.
